There was this person whom I encountered in the language classes, and I looked up to him because he was so good at studying the new language. We became friends (and maybe that's what I thought). I mentioned the paper that I was doing while we were on a trip to Manila, and he was able to encourage me to finish it. Then the communication stopped after the certificates were given, and I was thinking maybe the last message that I sent was not worth replying to. Then finally, I was able to finish my Master's Degree program, and I was waiting for his interaction about it, but days passed and he didn't. I decided to send him the link to my post and tell him that I was grateful for the encouragement he had given. He replied after a few minutes and said congratulations. That's it. Why did I feel the coldness? I thought we were so-called friends among our classmates before; he's the one to whom I am close. This is sad. 09|30|2023 19:56
