My birthday 🎂

I have always left my childhood door open a smidge. I can’t fully close it. I’m afraid to let some things go, the nostalgia is too great. Maybe I’m overly sentimental but whatever it’s my life isn’t it. It’s my fucking door to close or not to close. Whenever I feel like it. It may be never but who knows…It can be tomorrow or the day after or twenty years from now or yeah, it can be never. I think if it’s one thing I’ll have a hard time to do, it’s to close that damn door. I’m too chickenshit to leave that part of me behind. So a smidge it is. Just a smidge. But it is enough. It makes me feel whole.
