A full cirlce story: You see that chain and ring there? It’s my gramps. My sweet friend @naninanibubu808 got it back to me Saturday. The story: i loaned it to a young man at one of our King’s Kids Camps in 1995. He became a little brother to me. A reminder to stay the course with God. The next year we both got engaged and then married to our loves. How cool right?! Turns out my sweet, loving, joyful church sister is his aunt. And that’s the story of my gramps’ ring n chain. Our nephew and son captured a few of Mom here. And boy was it a wonderful celebration of Dad's 90-year life. Never have I seen so many people at a service. So many stories of changed lives shared as they shook our hands. Never have I laughed so much at a service. What a legacy of joyful faith, compassionate service, and unbounded love. I pray we live out and pass on Dad's legacy from age to age. May we be such a bright light with few words possible. (at Oahu)
