Fatal Mistake (AU) | Jeremiah and Stiles

When he heard Jeremiah’s voice crack, his stomach fell. He didn’t want this. He didn’t want to come to this, no. Never this. “This is the most I can do.” He said softly, trying to keep his own voice in check. “Maybe the Silent Brothers… or Magnus… they know more about healing than I do. I… did what I could. I’m sorry, I’m the one who yanked you out of there, moved your spine even more, I…” Of course logically he knew he had no other chance. He had to pull Jeremiah out, or he would have drowned. But this way he messed up his spine real bad,

Jeremiah didn't say anything, he was trying not to lose the grip on himself, but his heart was heavy and his chest felt like it was about to tear itself apart. He had to cling to the possibilities Stiles had mentioned. Maybe warlock-magic could save him. Or the Silent Brothers - he was runed now, he could be sent there without having to fear rejection, right? "Don't", he muttered when Stiles made himself look guilty, knowing that after all it really wasn't the other's fault. It was a real miracle he had been able to go on for so long without being stopped for good. Maybe this was the end his foolish actions had been leading to all the time. Jeremiah curled his hands into fists and slammed them against the ground, hitting it hard, ripping his skin open with the force of his despair.

He might have been drunk, but he definitely enjoyed the kiss. Drunk kisses are fun, especially if both of them are drunk. Stiles kinda didn’t think about what does this mean, or what would happen later. He just enjoyed the kiss, that’s all. “And I walked away because you were still buzzkill-y. You are always buzzkill-y. I didn’t want to give you the chance to kill my buzz. Again. Once was more than enough.” He might have been a little bit out of breath from the kiss, his voice a little husky.

"It's still been you who walked away so it's your fault obviously", Jeremiah said with a happy grin. He was convinced he was right and Stiles had just lost their little discussion - not that it gained him anything really, but when you were drunk things seemed to have different values than usual. "How would I manage to kill your buzz anyway?" While asking Jeremiah lost interest in the answer to his question and frowned. "Nevermind. But just so you know once I sobered up this kiss will not have happened if you get what I mean."

Well, oops - Jeremiah&Stiles

Stiles could get rid of the camera footages easily. Just looping some earlier footage back, disarming all the security systems. He knew how to do this. By the angel, his dad would kill him for this. One more thing on the list of things that dad can never find out. "Found it?" He asked, hands in pockets now, waiting for Jeremiah to come back with the magnet. He’ll have to restart the alarm before they left either way. "Why don’t you just leave there a sign like hey we have been here?” Stiles rolled his eyes. So much for his precautions.

Jeremiah shot Stiles an angry look. "Just because I'm breaking in doesn't mean I want to steal their stuff", he grumbled. Jeremiah had actually thought about leaving a note saying what exactly he had taken, but after Stiles' comment he wouldn't mention that. "Now hurry." He held the magnet firmly, clinging to it, glad they had something that might help now. "Looks like you aren't as useless as you make it seem most of the time", he teased, trying to hide the spark of amusement.

Stiles really shouldn’t have been doing this, nope. It was all not real. Just like a dream, but hell, if it had been a dream then he gave no fucks about it just now. “What are you thanking me for?” He whispered back, confused, blinking at Jeremiah, not really seeing why was the other guy thanking him for. It was Stiles who needed comfort, and Jeremiah gave it to him. He should be the one thanking Jeremiah, not the other way around.

Jeremiah let out a soft chuckle. "I don't even know anymore", he confessed, "I guess...it just feels good to be needed and...liked." For a moment Jeremiah feared Stiles would make fun of him, like he did most of the time, making sarcastic remarks just because it seemed funny to him or whatever, just like Jeremiah tended to hurt people in order to protect himself, even when it wasn't needed.

"Yeah. Sure. Whatever floats your boat." Stiles rolled his eyes, before yanking his hand out from Jeremiah’s grasp. "Good luck with that." He said nonchalantly, spinning away on his heel, turning the other way, and starting to walk away.

Jeremiah looked after Stiles for a while, a little unhappy, but he heard himself shout after the boy before he was out of earshot. Which confused him, he hadn't planned on doing that. "Stiles! Wait!" He jogged after him and only came to a halt a few metres behind him. "I didn't mean that. I'm sorry..." It wasn't easy for Jeremiah to admit that, but he meant it and felt like it needed saying.

Stiles raised his eyebrows, and then he flicked Jeremiah’s nose with his other hand. “If I’m so stupid then why are you wasting your time with me, eh? You could just go hang out with nonstupid people instead. Those who meet your standards.”

Jeremiah still kept that finger prisoner. That way at least one of his hands wouldn't do anything Stiles-ish, like pointing at him or flicking his nose. "I never said I dislike having stupid people around", he said, though by now he didn't really think of Stiles as a stupid person anymore. He knew that the boy was very clever and skilled - he just didn't show most of the time.

Stiles let Jeremiah yank his hand away, and tried to ignore his own disappointment. It was stupid. What was he even expecting? “You started this whole thing.” Stiles shrugged a little, pointing at him. “So next time you won’t give me stupid dares like this.”

Jeremiah's left hand caught Stiles' finger that pointed at him, it seemed like a reflex with the other boy... Jeremiah's other hand lay in his lap, unmoving, he had not wiped it clean yet. "Stupid dares for stupid people", he teased and tried to grin mockingly, although it didn't really work.

Stiles grinned when Jeremiah caught his tongue, and then just closed his mouth over Jeremiah’s fingers, keeping them in his mouth. Not biting, but just teasingly sucking on them a little with a challenging, playful glint in his eyes.

When Stiles didn't flinch back Jeremiah frowned. He'd been sure the other wouldn't like him touching his tongue, why would anyone like someone touching their tongue? Yet the other grinned at him and even started to su- Jeremiah quickly pulled his fingers out of the other boy's mouth. "WHAT", he exclaimed, ignoring the weird feeling in his body and stared at Stiles out of widened eyes.

Stiles raised his eyebrows. “No?” And then he leaned forward licking Jeremiah’s nose again. “Well if it’s not weird for you…”

Jeremiah widened his eyes in disbelieve as he felt Stiles' wet tongue on the bridge of his nose. "Your dare is over. Stop touching me", he complained and tried to catch Stiles' tongue with his fingers without moving out of the other's reach.

"Its weird no matter who am I doing it to! It’s weird for me! Weird for them! Everyone involved."

"You're overdramatising... I disagree. It isn't weird", he said determinedly and crossed his arms. "It's just because you are weird. You made it weird."

"It’s weird." Stiles leaned forward, licking Jeremiah’s nose. "See? Weird. It’s weird. How could you even think of this?"

As soon as Stiles had stopped licking his nose he sneezed silently. "I said not my nose.And it's wet, ugh. And it's weird when it's you doing that to me, otherwise it wouldn't be weird." He wouldn't tell Stiles hos he had come up with this dare. No, that would be embarrassing.

"Don't lick my nose. And what's so bad about this? At least it's neither emberrassing nor...uh...i don't know. It's a good dare."

Drunk Call | Jeremiah and Raphael

"Why on earth did you destroy your ID?" Raphael asked, confused. Was the man hiding from someone? If he was, now was the best time to find out what was happening. Jeremiah was in a sharing mood. "Congratulations. Should I put the phone on speaker, that everyone else can know, too?" he asked sarcastically. "Seriously, where are you?"

"Because I had to, I can't have people know me", he answered, remembering how he had burned his ID and bid goodbye to his old life. "No, don't. I want it to stay a secret that I like boys", Jeremiah said with a forwn, contradicting himself, because since Raphael knew now it wasn't exactly a secret anymore. "I don't know. Now it got darker, the lights are gone somehow. Why are the lights gone? Oh look! There's you hotel!"

Fatal Mistake (AU) | Jeremiah and Stiles

Stiles had no idea if it’d work or not. He prayed silently for Raziel, and whoever angel was listening, that they’d glance here, see the injured boy, and just give some extra angel mojo to them. Anything. “Don’t thank me just yet. I’m doing all I can.” He said softly, gently taking Jeremiah’s other hand as well, drawing the rune on his other wrist as well. “They are usually… given to both wrists, or to the collarbone. So…” He didn’t finish. He tried his best, but he feared it wouldn’t be enough. That it won’t be enough.

Jeremiah just closed his eyes, a sad smile on his lips. He felt his eyes sting and a while later hot tears ran down his cheeks. There was no sob escaping him and he did his best to keep his breathing even - to calm himself, but to hide the fact that he was crying from the other Shadowhunter also. He still couldn't feel his legs and with every second that passed the fear and certainty grew. It was over. He had lost. The angels were laughing at that foolish boy who had tried to be one of their soldiers and enjoyed watching him break while they took the only thing he had ever wanted from him. "It's over, isn't it?", he asked quietly, his voice cracking.

Hard decisions|Jeremiah&Stiles

Stiles knew somewhere, deep inside his mind that he shouldn’t. He shouldn’t do this, shouldn’t lose himself in Jeremiah’s gentle caresses, his arms, his scent. Nothing good can come out of it, but he just couldn’t bring himself to pull himself out and go away. For once, he wanted to be selfish. “Alright.” He whispered a single word, that was all the normally so talkative boy could say.

Jeremiah smiled at Stiles' consent and leaned against him, still holding the other boy and comforting him. It felt good to have someone like him, a friend he could talk to, that listened to his problems but came to him for help as well. It felt good to be needed. He closed his eyes, a content smile still on his lips, and enjoyed the peaceful moment with Stiles. "Thank you", he whispered.
