looking to chat to lgbtqa+ people who have used technology to find relationships
Hi! In response to an infuriating influx of articles about how social media, technology and online dating is “killing romance”, I’m looking to write a feature about how these services can actually be invaluable for lgbtqa+ people.
I’d really like to chat to people who have had experiences with this! We can either talk over Skype or just do a quick and informal email interview - whichever suits. I’ll be pitching this feature to a couple of different small publications (and at the very least the article will be published on my wordpress blog), but you’re welcome to stay anonymous if you want.
I want to talk to people before committing to a certain angle on this article, so even if you’re not sure if this is relevant to you I’d really love to speak to you! Whether you’re in a long or short term relationship that started online, in a long distance relationship and have never even met the other person, or have just found close lgbtqa+ friends through tech and social media, I’d really like to hear your story.
