Our intelligence has gained the information that Russia is considering committing a terrorist act at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant - a terrorist act with the release of radiation. They have prepared everything for this.

Unfortunately, I already had to remind more than once that radiation knows no national borders, and who it hits is determined only by the direction of the wind.

We are sharing all available information with our partners - everyone in the world. All the evidence. Europe, America, China, Brazil, India, the Arab world, Africa - all countries, absolutely everyone must know this. International organizations. All of them.

There should never be any terrorist attacks on nuclear power plants, anywhere. This time it should not be like with Kakhovka: the world has been warned, therefore, the world can and must act.

turn up the volume and listen to these cries. this used to be a zoo “Kazkova Dibrova” in Nova Kahovka, housing around 300 animals. it is reported to be fully submerged under water now. animals could not be evacuated because the land around the zoo was mined by russians (it is currently in occupied territories). many if not all animals died from drowning and i wish russians the same fate. russia delenda est.

Imagine waking up in the morning and the first thing you know is that russia committed another war crime/ecocide/crime against humanity. The reservoir cools down Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and gives water to the North Crimean Canal (hew, remember how russian claimed that they attacked Ukraine because they needed water to the occupied Crimea?). Hundred of villages and towns will be drowned just in a few hours. Thousands of people will lose their homes. 

I can’t even start to describe how vile it is, how angry and heartbroken I am right now.

The russians blew up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) dam early this morning. As a result of the explosion of the engine room from the inside, the station was completely destroyed. The Kakhovka HPP is beyond repair.

At least 150 tons of machine oil has spilled into the Dnipro River due to the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP, and there is a risk of further leakage of over 300 tons. 80 settlements are in the flood zone.

Unfortunately, in occupied Novaya Kakhovka, the Kazkova Dibrova amusement park, where the zoo is located, was flooded. Local publications report that some animals have died, the fate of other animals is unknown…

One of the tasks of the HPP is to provide water to Ukraine’s arid south by accumulating and redistributing water resources. Due to the destruction of the Kakhovka dam, the temporarily occupied Crimea will remain without drinking water.

Ukraine’s southern military command says russians occupants blew up the Nova Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine to prevent Ukrainian forces from crossing the Dnipro River.
