Hello witchblr! I am but a humble baby witch and today i had followed this picture to create a sigil for happiness! I then took a zoom call with my counselor and after the sigil reappeared on the table... after i had burned it. what does this mean? am i in trouble? thanks in advance! ❤️🐛🌱😭🐞
Tips for the Baby Witch
witchcraft is an enhancement to your life, it shouldnt be or determine your whole life
its okay to do or not do things. what matters is what youre comfortable with
figure out your ethics before you do anything. figure out how you feel about involving others in your craft, about curses/hexes, deities, etc. you might regret past actions if you figure this out too late
start easy. people arent born as a master in anything, including witchcraft. try not to overwork yourself
its okay to be casual. you dont have to dedicate your entire life to the craft. you dont need fancy supplies to be valid
do research. on everything you want to do, but especially spells, spirits, and how to protect yourself. protection is especially important
you dont have to be an expert in your preferred kind of craft. its okay to need help, to need to look things up, etc
keep your comfort in mind, but also that of others. your ethics are up to you, but you should know what effects you might have on others
you dont have to call yourself a witch, or use any other terms
you will learn with time. give it time
Lilith the Goddess a.k.a. The Night
Lilith gained her popularity back in these dark days, so I am going to inform some new pagan witches with her story and how to celebrate her.
She has been known as the Ancient Demon, many feared her, but she is actually a Dark Deity of pagans. It is said that she was the first woman on earth, but made not from dust, but from filth and residue. Jewish legends describe her the most, but it is no secret that she was related to Sumerian witchcraft.
Even tho she is described as the evil demon in the ancient texts, she became a symbol of feminine energy and freedom in the modern Wicca religion.
Lilith is a goddess that is unfortunately shrouded in mystery. Luckily, a tradition of witches that work with her have come up with different ideas on how to represent Lilith on your pagan altar.
Make connection with Lilith when:
you are anxious, feeling angry with YOURSELF or when you lose your self worth, in need for empowerment and building up emotional strength, if you have problems with your reproductive system or just for arguments with men.
How to represent her on your altar:
- her symbol is the owl or a serpent, so figurines of those animals should be placed on your altar
- she is the night, so night and universe paintings
- black moon symbolism, trees and dark forest art, apples, pomegranates, red wine and blood, aphrodisiacs
Crystals: amber, bloodstone, tourmaline and tigers eye, also moonstone

Blessed Beltane: Ways to Celebrate
Blessed Beltane everyone!
-Wear green, red, purple, yellow, and white
-Wear a flower crown
-If it’s safe for you, go outside and enjoy nature. If you can, go to the woods or forest.
-If it’s safe for you, have a campfire or a bonfire! If that’s not an option, you could always light a candle.
-If you follow a pantheon of deities, there’s several associated with the holiday: Artemis, Pan, Bes, Bacchus, Cernunnos, Flora, Hera, Kokopelli, Mbana Mwana Waresa, Priapus, Sheela-na-Gig, Xochiquetzal.
-If you have the space and the opportunity, work in your garden or plant something!
-If you are trying to have a baby, it’s the perfect time of year for fertility magic.
-If you have one, decorate your altar or shrine with Beltane colours, flowers, and candles.
-Dance around a maypole! If you don’t have one of those just… laying around, you could dance around a tree. If you’re stuck inside, you could dance around a chair. Just get dancing!
-Leave an offering for the faeries!
-Make a cake and decorate it with (edible) leaves or green frosting to make a Green Man cake!
-Braid some ribbons or yarn together to hang in a tree!
-Look into tulip and flower magick!
