"Moon"
My OC Will, hanging out with some friends ^_^
Some autumn coziness featuring my OCs Eileen, Leyla and Reelith with some fluffy cat friends ^_^
Aviendha! As close as I can get right now to my inner picture of her, at least. Capturing a likeness that I see in my mind feels oddly difficult. But maybe it isn't odd at all :) Does anyone relate? Anyways, looking forward to season 2!
A couple of sketches done with coloured pencils depicting my OC Reelith. I've missed drawing her, and I also realized that I''ve missed using coloured pencils! Looking forward to sketching more <3
Blue hair <3 I had so much fun painting this one! She's one of the mermaids I sketched for Mermay two years ago. Here are all of them.

Trying to capture my vision of Alanna Sedai.
A close-up of the fox friend in my previous painting :) Click to see it in better quality.
Meeting a friend!
Some sketches of Nynaeve from The Wheel of Time (as I imagine her from the books). I love drawing her long braid! Lots of fluffy hair in any shape makes me happy ^_^ Lately I'm trying to let go of the need to make everything as perfect as possible since it creates a huge amount of unnecessary stress for me, and honestly kills the joy of drawing entirely. So I try to allow roughness, imperfection and wonkiness, and I find that I like that imperfection much more than I would have thought.
Wheel of Time! From top to bottom: Nynaeve, Moiraine, Elayne, Egwene. Tiny pencil sketches (about 3x3 cm each) coloured in Painter Classic with some adjustments in Photoshop.
Aaaa – I want to draw more characters!

The mermaids I sketched during Mermay this year. With a guest appearance from Tiny Floating Whale from Steven Universe in the last one! :D I recently made a sketch account on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shideh.sketches/
I’ve found colored inks to be most enjoyable to paint with! I love how intense their color is and how they separate a little from each other after being blended, so that interesting color variations appear :D
I worked on damp paper and painted with a mixture of J. Herbin inks (rouge caroubier, vert olive and ambre de birmanie) plus black Pelikan ink. When it had dried I defined some details using charcoal and chalk pencils.
