Jennie was born into a very loving family. One that was very theatrical and whimsical and didn’t take themselves too seriously. And while she loved it at first, she grew to disdain her upbringings with no real reason behind it.
Throughout the years, there was a shift from the sweet, small, angelic Jennie everyone grew to love. She became cold and cruel to those around her. She became a cheerleader because of the status it gave her.
There was an underlying reason behind all of this, but she didn’t realize who she was becoming. She just wanted to show that she deserved the world.
She was messy to say the least. A raging bitch that had the hardest time backing down even when she was dead wrong.
She decided to take cheer seriously, doing it competitively while in college where she studied Marketing with a focus on media. The knowledge she’d acquired at the time to start influencing her own social media profiles.
From skincare brands, to different athletic wear, she was soon known as a welcomed face across all platforms, especially because her true personality was kept so well under wraps. Anytime someone came out with a story of her, she had a perfectly curated rebuttal about being anxious and having bad days often.
Auditioning for the Titans Cheerleading team felt natural to her given her cheer heavy background and she thrived in the environment. Not only did she benefit from having more content to post, but the cheerleaders and team benefitted from her following. A very mutually beneficial arrangement.
She would eventually move her brand away from beauty and fashion into True Crime. Initially, she wanted to look into the original Hidehill murders and figure out what happened, but now it was happening all over again. Naturally, followers want her to address what’s going on in her town at the moment, but she doesn’t feel comfortable doing so.
Though she may seem emotionally detached from a lot of things, what’s happening in Hidehill has been affecting her. Followers have even noticed and have been leaving comments on all of her platforms, but she doesn’t have the strength to address any of it directly.
Her biggest fear, after binge watching horror movies is that her mean girl behavior will catch up to her and leave her slaughtered.

Jordan was familiar with late nights; he'd been having a lot of them ever since the deaths in town started. It wasn't unusual for him to end up at the pizza place close to midnight, but the way he slowly drank from the beer bottle in his hand and hadn't even taken a bite of the slice in front of him was out of character for the way he had been acting. "What are you doing up?" He took another small drink from the bottle, looking at the other as she entered inside the place. Another thing he was familiar with, Barbie Baker.
It was normal for Jennie to waltz around at night, looking for snacks that she could munch on while spending countless hours gathering notes for her next true crime video. Late Night Slice had some of her absolute favorite candies that she wanted to stack up on. Seeing Jordan Hayes was not at the top of her list, but she wasn't going to be mean about it either. "Well.." she looked down at the armful of candies pressed to her chest and lifted her shoulders into a shrug. "Snackin'... what about you?"
"Are you gonna do one of your little true crime things about us all?" Charlie asked with a raised brow as he sat back. Charlie had gotten closer to Jennie than he'd expected, her being his best friends sister was once thing but the two of them also had the pleasure of working for the titan's too. "Can you at least film some clips of me while I'm alive? I don't want all my clips being slow motion game play of me running on the field in black and white or you slowed down clips of me dancing to your voice saying 'he lit up every room that he walked into' you know?"
Jennie was in the middle of editing one of her videos about the true story behind the Texas Chainsaw Massacre when she heard the familiar voice of a man she found to be interesting. He was funny, most people refused to understand his humor but Jennie got it.. somewhat. "Thing is, Abbott.. I don't even want to think about you dead. You'd look pretty tiny in a casket." she joked, sliding her laptop off of her lap and standing to her feet to properly have a conversation with the football player. "I don't know though.. something doesn't feel right.. documenting things as they're happening... right around me.." there was a nervous breath that shook from her nostrils as she looked around the room they were in. The fucking menace could be anywhere and take the both of them out at any given moment.

A cheerleader and a writer seemed like the world's most unlikely pair. Or at least that's what Realm had led himself to believe for the majority of his life, no thanks to various experiences in high school that added to his ever-growing list of evidence. The majority of the cheerleaders from his school wouldn't have looked twice at him, let alone opened up to express their similar interest in True Crime the way Barbie had with him. So it was actually with an unlikely sense of relief that Realm felt a wave of comfort when it was her that plopped herself down in the seat beside him. He wasn't sure exactly how long he'd been sitting there, but seeing as there hadn't been any screams, it wasn't like he was exactly jazzed to get himself back inside. His mask sat, all but forgotten beside him as he tried to get a read on hers. "Is that even supposed to be a mask? It looks more like a shower curtain for half of your face."
Though many people, especially in the South liked to stick to their cliques. The way society set things up was how they were meant to be kind of vibes. Jennie was never like that, she was always open with the types of friends she'd interact with. She of course was a raging bitch most of the time, but she didn't discriminate that to one subset of people at all. Growing close to Realm felt natural, given their interests and where they lied. There was a fear bubbling inside of her regarding the Shadow and their plans for tonight. Was she on the list? Was there a list? There was no way the calculated murders were all random. It seemed like a well-planned operation and she just needed to get to the bottom of it. But, she smiled over at the other, clearing her throat when the question broke her from that depressing train of thought. "I thought it looked cool... guess I was wrong, huh?" she asked playfully, crossing one leg over the other and adjusting her mask gently.
"And I know you guys have been asking to see my brother again for a while now, so here he is!" she exclaimed into the camera she was holding, turning it toward Nate with a wide grin as she settled into the seat beside him. Eventually, she would turn the camera back on herself, steadying it enough before she started speaking again. "This masquerade event was put together by the Conrads in honor of their daughter Tiffany, who unfortunately lost her life in one of the Shadow Killings. As you all know.. I refuse to talk about the current events on this channel, so I will say nothing more than rest in peace to those who lost their lives. You're always in our thoughts.." the camera then was turned off and her smile almost immediately dropped, looking around the room at all of the party goers.
"You know what I love about living here? We hear the word party and suddenly all of our very serious worries go away.." she couldn't help but chuckle at her own statement, but it was true.
