Some things stay the same.. your bond with an old roomie... and your fear of heights... especially on the same trail where you formed your fear of heights 10 years prior.. because your old roomie told you not to look down... and you did... while hopping peaks on a tiny cliff... you never looked down before.. but, on this particular day, you did... perhaps this is why I write trail guides.. to inform the less fortunate of my knowledge...
