I found myself searching for you this past weekend. I don't know if you still work the same schedule, and I am sure you don't drive the same car. I drove around and around, just to see if there was any chance of taking a glimpse at you. Just to see you, to feel the comfort I had always felt when I was by your side. I tend to see you in random strangers. I have dreams with you every now and then. And days after, I can’t get you out of my head. I think about the what if’s and what would’ve happened. I remember all the things we had in common, the really good times. Then those thoughts are blinded by the bad. There was always a bad time that followed the good ones. I think my life would be very much different than it is now. Don’t know whether for better or worse. I don’t regret my decision, but I do miss our friendship. One that could never happen again. It hurts to delete our pictures. But your a thing of the past. I hope you learned from all our mistakes like I did while we were together, and I hope you found your happiness. I can only wish great things for you in the future. If I could offer you one piece of advice, it would be “don't be so insecure, and everything will be alright.”
