It doesnt matter because i already use it but i wonder if people who are so called cinephiles see my favourites and my reviews maybe they think im a performative movie watcher, maybe i should perform better on letterboxd write intellectual reviews seem smart and show i have emotional depth and i realise i have already fallen into the trap, i am performing for acceptance from people I don't even know and this is a mundane example but its so me I keep doing this, when will i feel i dont have to be accepted anymore

why do people romanticise their suffering so much and develop a weird superiority complex like oh your dad didnt tell you to kill yourself so you must lack a depth of character and i am obviously better than you because i have plot oh you would never get me youve never sliced your wrists open you've lived normally youre so mundane hello im glad for the people who havent had the kind of suffering i had and theres a spark on them that i know I lack and i hope sososso much i can be that person too
