Happy Pride everyone! My name is CURIOSCURIO or CASSIE, and Iâm seeking help funding my escape from Florida to the sanctuary state of Minnesota. You may have seen some of my comics or fanart or weird sculptures around Tumblr, and I hope they made you smile (or grimace).
Well, today Iâm selfishly asking for help with a personal matter: moving out. Iâve been living with my parents again for the past 4 years and my mental health situation has gotten dire. Floridaâs transphobic laws and anti-lgbtq bigotry is getting more and more alarming, and it no longer feels like a safe area to live as a queer person. I cannot keep living with my parents no matter how hard Iâve tried, and I need to leave this horrible state or the stress is going to kill me. I want to be free.
