sometimes i talk about how awful it was to feel trapped by my daily makeup routine and how i couldn’t leave the house without putting on a full face and it played a major role in the misery of my high school experience because i had to spend so much extra time getting ready in the mornings and that followed me into my early 20s as well and it was hell and it was so incredibly liberating to go through the slow and uncomfortable but ultimately essential process of getting my bare face back and having makeup be an optional accessory instead of a mandatory uniform. and the response always tends to be ah yes of course, because of your trans and your masculine. and it’s like aha so close! actually! I think if I ended up being a feminine cis woman I also still would not deserve even a second of that shit! I think trans women and nonbinary people and every human alive should have the option to leave the house without a single cosmetic product ever touching their face! but thanks for playing!

I love when someone is explaining instructions to a group I’m in and they look at me and it reminds them to say something about using preferred names/pronouns or that there’s vegan food options available. I go by my given name/pronouns and I’m not vegan but I’m proud that I can provide this service

One time I came home from uni very upset and my younger siblings asked what's wrong. I said that mutated flies in our lab escaped because someone broke their jar. I didn't even realise how scary it sounded to them until I saw their faces lmao. I was upset because we were short on said flies (they don't reproduce very well) and my siblings thought that some crazy radioactive fly monsters escaped and we are all fucked now. Love being a mad scientist in their eyes lowkey

resisting the urge to overanalyze the regent's park pictures from yesterday because fuck if we're going to get any new info in the next two weeks before it opens

the funny thing is that im not even sitting here like 'omg this is going to be so good im so excited i cant wait' like im dying of suspense here purely because i want to know if itll be ass or not

its kind of surprising to me to see people already coming to conclusions about whether this show will be good or bad because i feel like we still know soooo little about it. we still dont even know if itll have some sort of theme! we dont know what the costuming will look like! we dont know what the stage will look like! we dont know how many changes theyve made and how big those changes are! we havent even seen one(1) single second of choreography, only still images. i dont get how people can form such strong opinions over the thimble's worth of info we have so far
