at work they're showing us how to use AI tools like Copilot to help in our day to day tasks.

I have many reasons why I will not use those tools, going from lack of accuracy, lack of ethics, and a higher waste of energy.

But my main reason is this:

I will do things the hard way. I will learn how to do things the hard way.

Because AI is a subscription. And when the world is dependant on AI, they will raise the price of that subscription.

And when the company I work for decides that paying for AI is too expensive for their bottom line, they will remove it.

But I will still know how to work.

Are fans still optimistic about the future of cats?

I feel like every discussion, whether it's the current costuming of replicas, people engaging with TJB, or speculating about what the regent production might be is all met with skepticism or premature disappointment.

Maybe I'm fixating on the wrong circles, or I've been here too long but I feel like nobody in the fandom is really excited about anything new coming from the LW entertainment group or CATS productions in general.

#i mean… i’ve stepped back from the fandom in general but it’s not NOT because i’m disappointed in the state of the show lol #the new designs really torpedoed my interest in keeping up with replica productions to be frank #i really hope the whole open air mystery ends up just being marketing and it goes back to normal (please god)#but i’m still excited about the non-reps that pop up every now and again! i just don’t have insta/facebook so i don’t hear about them :(

sometimes a trans woman wins against a cis woman. sometimes a cis woman wins against another cis woman too. yet only one of them is allowed to win without facing consequences.

not seeing a lot of people on here talking about ICE murdering another man yesterday. His name was Lorenzo Salgado Arajou. He was a Mexican man living in Huston Texas. He was killed at age 52 and lived the past 35 years here in the USA, and was in the process of obtaining a work permit. He was shot and killed during a traffic stop that ICE claims was part of a targeted operation, and claimed he was “weaponizing his vehicle”- the same claim ICE agents made when they shot and murdered Renee Good.

During the stop, Lorenzo had 3 coworkers with him in his truck who have all been taken into ICE custody.

His family described Lorenzo as a hardworking family man who didn’t deserve to be killed. All he wanted was to provide for his wife and see his sons become great people. His eldest son recognized his father by his cries and pleas when trying to identify who the victim was.

The Salgado Araujo family has set up a gofundme to help with funeral and legal costs, and to help keep their family supported since Lorenzo was the sole provider.
