My older fcking sucks. My son, his nephew is 2 years old, and I can still count on my fingers how many times he has come to visit his nephew. And he only lives 10 minutes up the road!

He came to visit today for dinner and my son wanted his attention the whole time, and he just totally blew him off, and kept talking to the other adults in the room.

My son asked him if he would play cars with him, and my brother literally just walked away and went outside, where my son couldn’t follow cuz people were smoking.

Now my kid is sitting alone in his playpen, quietly playing with his magnetiles, and I asked, “you okay, baby?” And he said “no” in the smallest voice ever.

So I brought him a cup of milk in his favorite sippy and he said “thank you, mama” in the littlest saddest voice I ever heard and I just wanna punch a damn hole in the wall.

He’s literally the cutest thing in the world! Best kid ever! And I’m so mad my idiot brother just blew him off like that! It’s like looking at my own damned childhood but now I’m an adult and instead of crying “he’s being mean to me” to my dad I’m about to go square up and throw hands at him because how can he do that to my baby 😭
