Not only was this episode an amazing way to tell their story, it was also a great tribute to a timeless classic.
That opening man. That was epic!
Their different stories were brought together so well, its great that we got to learn a bit more about their parents past, and that we got to see their pov for a change.Ā
After seeing each one happen over the past 2 seasons, it was nice to see all those different relationships, that started back then.
The music for this episode was awesome! 100% on point. So much nostalgia.
The Griffins and Gargoyles storyline is something else entirely. Like Dungeons and Dragons on a whole new level. A LARP game that can kill you in a Teen drama. Well thatās a first.Ā
A full on flashback episode is not easy to pull off. The Riverdale team has done an amazing job with this. Normally new actors are cast to play young versions of parents, but I love that Riverdale let the main cast play their parents. The cast stepped into these new roles so well. It was perfect. I love how everything came together in the end. It was both sad and interesting to see how everything fell apart for their parents so it could come together years later for their kids.Ā
Definitely one of the best episodes so far.
