workin hard or hardly workin

"Do you balance clubs on top of sports and academics?"  He asked, a slight hint of cockiness unintentionally tinging at his voice.  "Being in Einhorn, I’d expect that school and sports wouldn’t be enough to satisfy you.  Am I right?"

"I'm head of the Astronomy Club." He paled slightly. "Buuuut, it's new so...activities a bit slow. But I'll have lots of members soon, for sure! One of the members, Mina, I don't know if you know her, but she's gonna help me advertise."

Mina herself had a few friends she could ask, although she wasn’t exactly sure if they would join. A lot of them were lazy, and a lot more were really involved in their sports.

He took another glance at his poster. "Yeah, we could make the poster bigger. And I bet you could go out and rack in a bunch of people with that attitude." He snrrk'd and lightly tugged at one of Mina's pigtails. "You could dress up as a star, you're so sunny." Jean let out a laugh. "See? I'm amazing at astronomy wordplay."

"There’s just a few more if we work together it’ll be done in no time" he face forms into a bright smile "thankyou for helping me Jean"

Her set was surprisingly gentle, only propping the volleyball up a foot or so into the air; then she slammed her palm into the imitation leather, rocketing it back toward Jean in an immature impressive display of strength.

"Besides, at least I'm not gay."

"Do you ever have any time to just like…hang out while balancing all those sports and school?”  Thomas winced at the question, thinking it may have come across as rude.   He didn’t intend for it to come out that way, he really was just curious.

Jean's eyes gravitated to Thomas' tie and blinked slowly. Flugel, huh? Sporty, but lacking academics. "It takes a certain skill to be in Einhorn."  To Thomas, Jean's unique douchebaggery must have been flowing like a river, but half of the thing Jean said was just to make himself feel better and stick to his honest charisma.

"Running without something to chase just seems pointless to me."  He stated, a rather superfluous statement to say the least.  "Anything specific you’re training for or just a daily routine kind of thing?"  He asked.  Damn this probably wasn’t the greatest first impression ever…

"Exactly, running without and objective seems ridiculous to me." Jean shrugged, as an extremely goal-oriented person, extra nonsense with no point or reward were a hassled and highly avoided. "But, coaches always say 'endurance and cardio' so I figured I'd muscled through it." He scratched the top of his head. "And I guess it's a bit of both, I'm doing volleyball now and it isn't much of a workout, but I like to stay in shape for lacrosse and soccer." Jean was pleased with this conversation, finding Thomas easy to talk to, a regular guy.

"Did you put the books back correctly?"

"U-uh, yeah. Of course I did." He quickly covered his lie with a question. "Do you need me to put any more back?" 

Mikasa actually found it rather confusing, the way he eyed her like he did. Was he sick perhaps? His face was red, and he was sweating.. it could have been a fever. Maybe that fall had hurt him more than she’d thought. Her eyes nervously glanced around her as he leaned closer, his voice a very strange and foreign lace to it. “Yeah, about those…” Mikasa shivered as he got closer, her lower body squirming slightly as she pressed herself further into the mattress, like he had been backing her into it. Her mouth formed words but the sound came out barely audible, for once in her life Mikasa Ackerman was speechless. Her lower lip trembled slightly, and her cheeks were a horrid shade of red as she tripped and stumbled upon his name. It finally left her lips in a strangled whine, “.. J-Jean.. W-Wha -  His arm had moved it’s way around her and Mikasa panicked slightly, she had no idea what was going on. He obviously hit his head a little too hard. Her breath hitched as she went into a state of panic and confusion, her hips arched forward as she attempted to maneuver away from what ever he was trying to do but it was too late. Her heart stopped in her chest.. and time felt like it had also joined in. There was a sudden weight on her lips, a strange and very different feeling on her lips. Her eyes which were wide open at this point found it’s source and she nearly fainted. Jean was right there, he was pressed against her. And so were his..  She was too shocked to even move her hands tightening around the sheets she had found herself gripping too. what was she supposed to do?! He was kissing her what was she supposed to.. Was she supposed to kiss him back? Was she supposed to touch him? Push him off and yell? She had no clue. Her lips, in a strange moment of confusion, pushed back gently against his own. She was surrounded by a whirlwind of a emotions. She had no idea what she was doing.

He tilted his head some more to the right, parting his lips just so to kiss Mikasa again, feeling every nerve in his body working to make it perfect for the two of them. Once he got more comfortable, it was like a faucet had been turned on; Jean could feel his carnal want pooling back into his stomach, filling his head with a dizzying gas to let other, less conscious parts take hold. He slowly shifted, breaking their kiss for a moment to swing his leg over Mikasa's hip, straddling her as he connected their lips again. He didn't know what he was doing, as his body moved and mind flashed in and out of control, but he let it happen, and waited for Mikasa's response.

Mikasa felt a strange pull in her stomach as she held Jean’s gaze. There was something in his eyes and she couldn’t quite put her finger on what it was, but it made her breath hitch. Goodness.. Her eyes quickly averted themselves, her face warm, and her head clouded in confusion. They decided to trail down his neck, to his collar bones and down.. down.. down.. She quickly shook her head, Mikasa hadn’t really noticed it before (mainly because she hadn’t thought about it) but Jean was actually really handsome. Oh no, that won’t do. She needed to change the subject and hide this blush on her face.  Without much warning or thought at all, she pulled her whole body onto his bed. Sprawling out across the covers Mikasa stared up at his ceiling, trying to remain calm. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath. Her legs were bent in such a way so that her thighs stayed together but they betrayed her in showing off more skin than normal, the bed catching and pulling up her skirt ever so slightly. Not by much, but certainly enough to pull a few stares. Just enough to make it painful most likely for the poor boy in the room as one thigh accidentally brushed against his fingers. She pulled away shyly. Her blouse had also deiced to ride up exposing one of her hips to the warm air of his dorm, the sudden air causing her to shiver. “Your bed is quite comfortable, I’m jealous.” She whined playfully, before wetting her lips again. She then remembered there was a reason she was here tonight. Opps! Seemingly calm, Mikasa opened one eye glancing back and up at Jean. ”.. So, about those text messages..”

Jean's heart raced faster than it every did during sports or exams, his chest welling with emotion, and his body with aching with passion. A cold drop of sweat trickled down his cheeks aflame. He closed his eyes and arched an arm around her body, to steady himself as he lowered his face closer to her's.
