I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of walking with this amazing woman and we finally reach our destination of Santiago. She has been so passionate about raising as much money as possible for brain tumour research and has been consistently cheerful and optimistic. I couldn’t have done it without you Amanda. Love you. Lovely autumnal walk today. We walked 23km through oak, chestnut and pine forests dotted with stunning meadows and the odd hill!

Back on the Camino after a lovely couple of days recharging and preparing for the final leg. The nine of us set off in misty conditions on the 25km walk from Sarria to Portomarin. The sun soon came out and we enjoyed lovely views.

Lugo and Sarria

Today was about drinking coffee in the square in Lugo,visiting the cathedral and getting to Sarria to wait for the arrive of Susie, Gavin, Gwilym Lila, and Helen. Tonight our dormitory is in a monastery.
