Odie has held my pizza hostage lol. He’s starting to acting a little more normal now since he lost his buddy, Cuddles. I’ve thought about getting him a friend, but he will be 17 soon. I want to enjoy every moment I can without being distracted. He’s a good little dude. He has been meeting me at my front door recently, when ever I come home, ready to be on his spot on my shoulder. Been thinking of my boy today a lot. He would’ve been a week over 17 years old this past Sunday. Losing him still hurts, it hurts a lot, but knowing he isn’t suffering anymore means so much. I have this video of him purring really loud. He was a very loud purring boy. Man, he did not like me very much in his elder age, but I always will love him. He was a loving boy, when he wanted to be. H loved my dad more. He lived my tuxedo boy, Odie more than any human lol. Unless he was given treats or any kind of food lol. This is my first night back to something kind of normal. A week after the lock down in Georgia, April 4th, he passed in my arms. I will never ever forget this beautiful soul. I’m having a hard time today. Well, every day is a hard day, but I’m starting to remember exactly every day 17 years ago, when he became our buddy. His purr and liveliness was so much happiness to me. Cuddles, you’re always in my heart. If I don’t cry over you missing one day, I didn’t forget you, I’m just occupied, trying not to hurt. I miss you so much buddy. I wish you were still here to give hugs, kisses, and treats, and table scraps. You sure loved your half and half too lol. I give Odie half and half in honor of you bud. He sniffs at it, cries, and lays down at the bowl. He misses you a lot little dude. The whole family misses you boy. The past few weeks have been some of the hardest weeks to ever endure. Our little buddy, Cuddles was acting so lethargic like he was sick. Then he started to have seizures the next week. The medication seemed to help so much, but he was so lifeless and the lethargy was great. Today, his little body had enough. He was such a good boy. He was a week old when we got him on May 17, 2003. Please read this first; I never post this kind of stuff but it’s been making me think a lot lately and I totally agree. Political differences aside, this virus shit is getting crazy guys. It seems the most vulnerable are people above 55 years old. Let’s not just think of ourselves, but think of those in our communities that need a helping hand. We need to be a community of help, but while looking out for others, be cautious. I’m 35, and I think about my family with medical issues. One of my jobs consists of being around a lot of people. Now I’m kind of locked down and it sucks. I love to help when and where I can. Take care of yourself, but also, help the ones that need a helping hand. Don’t get silly with helping, because we obviously need to be very careful. But don’t forget those that need a helping hand. I’ve repeated myself a lot, and I’m probably going to lose followers because of sharing a “right wing media spokes person”, but honestly, I really do think we should be looking out for people over 55. Maybe I’m wrong, but if this gets me, then I’d rather go out giving a helping hand. Which sounds really crazy. It’s my opinion.
