“Well.. why can’t you?” Jay mused with a sweet smile. “What’s holding you back from moving to.. lets say.. Egypt?”

“Not a fan of puffy jackets. But they are so warm. But yes, hats are cute, I have an extensive collection”

“Warm, yes. Big and easily gets in the way, double yes.” Jay said, chuckling softly. “I don’t trust someone if they say they don’t like hats.”

Mark chuckled and shook his head. “You have nothing to be scared of. I promise you. Its a little snow and four month vacation in LA sounds great actually.”

“You say that now.. but if it gets bad I’m coming to you to complain louder.” Jay warned with a wide grin. “Doesn’t it? I could use the sun and space.. and freedom.”

“What is an east coast winter?” 

“Well.. I’m from Seattle which is right smack in the middle of a Temperate Rainforest.. which means my winters are usually pretty tame. Over on this side it’s not usually like that, right?”

“You’re telling me. That damn daylight savings time. And if it was anything like last winter, everyone better bundle up and prepare.”

Jay looked over at the other, clearly scared. “Uh.. yeah. Maybe I’ll just take a four month long vacation in LA or something..”

“You know how they say prevention is better than cure? Well, preparedness in the face of adversity works the same way.” Richard said as he slid the man an order slip for fire wood, “so what do you say then huh? Should I put you in for an extra order to keep your hearth warm?”

“You get used to it after a few years but you’re right, everything gets much sadder when it gets colder and shit. Don’t get me started on the snow and ice”

“Not a fan of the snow either?”

“On the plus side we can look all fashionable and stylish with our winter coats and scarves and hats and stuff right?”

“I guess so.. I never really was a fan of the puffy jackets though. Hat are cute.”

Mateo: You're cute.

Mateo: To be fair I was extremely drunk that night... most of what I remember are feelings... your lips and body. Your smile. Your music.

Mateo: You.

Jay: I was not. I was working.

Jay: Nah. Not as cute as you.

Mateo: The moment you felt so compelled to come see me

Mateo: The moment you almost offered to skip the rest of your show for a night with me

Jay: You approached me.

Jay: ...

Jay: Yeah. It was the first time you touched me. Like, really touched me.

Jay: I'm not going to say kiss because that's too cheesy.

  “Hey,” he said with a smile on his face as he opened the door and invited his friend over. “Are you ready for a night of junk food and distractions?” he asked smiling wildly. @jayxpierce​

Jay smiled when the door was opened, taking a step forward and pulling Eli into a tight hug. It had been so long since he had seen the other, and seeing Eli brought a sense of comfort, which was needed at a time like this. “That’s exactly what I need.. thank you for this, by the way. You.. you texted at the perfect time.

Jamie’s eyes darkened a bit when Jay told him that he was together with the guy that he mentioned last week. He was the reason that Jay had been in a funk, he was sure of it, Jay didn’t mention any other guy. “Woah woah woah..” Jamie held his hands up as a way to stop Jay from talking. 

“Are you talking about the guy that made you cry?”

‘Here are your drinks, boys” The waiter smiled as he placed their orders in front of them. ‘Is there anything else I can get you?” He tall and slender red headed male said as he looked at Jamie as he bit his lip. “Not right now, sugar.” he smiled and waved the other male away with a slight wave of his hand. The male, who’s name was either Tom or Tim left with a huff.

He turned to Jay, his smile dropped but he softened his voice. He had a tendency to raise it when upset. “Sorry for raising my voice, Jay..” he cleared his voice and pushed his hair back with his fingers. “Are you sure this is what you want?”

Jay fell silent, his hands falling to his lap instantly while his gaze dropped, almost as if he was a puppy with his tail between his legs. Licking his lips, he nodded slowly. “Yeah.. yeah that’s him.” He looked up at his older brother slowly. He was going to say more until they were disturbed by the server. Falling silent he waited until they were alone again before speaking up. “No, no. I get it,” he said, brushing the other’s words aside. “I know what it looks like from the outside.. but I wouldn’t be with him if it wasn’t.. if it wasn’t what I wanted. He makes me feel.. amazing. I-I mean special. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain.”

Mateo: Before that actually.

Mateo: When you first saw me in the crowd... I saw it on your face.

Jay: Fuck.

Jay: that shouldn’t turn me on as much as it does.

Jay: Not true, by the way.

Mateo smiled at the other and nodded his head. “It’s true… when I’m with you it’s like everything else doesn’t exist…” He slowly ran his fingers through the other’s hair and pulled him closer, kissing him slowly and deeply. His hands slowly moved down, squeezing the other’s ass lazily. “They do hm? That’s good to know.” He nipped gently at the other’s bottom lip and gave a small smile. He sunk deeper into the water, pulling Jay along with him and letting the water start to surround them and heat their body.

Jay tilted his head into the other’s touch shyly. He could feel the intenseness coming from the other. Or maybe it was just because they were so close and Jay could read every thought and emotion that crossed Mateo’s features. “Yes,” he breathed out, opening his eyes wider when he felt the bite, only to relax, his head resting in the crook of the other’s shoulders as they sunk deeper into the tub. “I can’t believe this thing hold both of us so well. I’ve never been in a tub so big.”

Mateo: I would use your beautiful body and have all kinds of fun with you.

Jay: Okay good.

Jay: Do that.

Jay: You have my permission to do whatever the fuck you want with me.
