"Yâbe achinâ fer a boy thaâ isnâ all there," Hunter says without thinking, kissing him back, kissing him hard, squeezing his hand in return. He smiles, too, feels a little filled with light, feels like floating in a way that is unfamiliar to him, it having been so long since heâd felt it. "Dâya think thaâ yâll everâŚ" he sighs, shakes his head, kisses him again and ignores the comment about dinner, lets it go away and disappear if only for a few moments. "Dâya think thaâ flyinâ awayâs all thaâ easy? Likeâ with birds. They leave for months atta time anâ they donâ come back for nothinâ. Wish I could do thaâ.â
Junayd sucks in a harsh breath at Hunter's words, baffled before he's pulled into a hard kiss. By the end of the kiss he's dizzy, because Hunter does that- he makes it so easy, forgetting to be collected, makes him feel so much his head spins. "Hey, I just..." He takes Hunter's hands in his, hesitant, but runs his thumbs over Hunter's knuckles. "Don't leave? I... I know I'm.... Stay around for me, please. Wait for me. I need- I want you to. I'm sorry." He can't. What would his friends think, for one thing. For the dance, though, if he could stand in front of all of those people, just hold onto Hunter for two minutes, get a taste, maybe-- His stomach flutters at the thought, dancing with Hunter, and he flushes dark from feeling so giddy over something so small. He's pathetic.Â
