I don't know if anyone will care to be honest, though if you do I apologize for making that assumption, but I'm aboutta be real here.
Life sucks.
These last few days for me have been like Sam and Dean's days in hell. And I don't say that lightly. I've almost committed 3 times in the last few hours.Yeah, like I said- this shit is real.
But I just decided I had to look at Tumblr. I had to see what all the talented people on here are posting today. None of these people know me. They might know me as the fanfiction hedgehog that can only ever write fluff fanfic or something but they don't KNOW me.
So I prepared to just sign off. For good. But then I realized that being part of this fandom isn't that simple. It's a friggin family. A family that doesn't begin or end in blood. I never had a good relationship with my given family but Jensen, Jared, Misha, and every Spn fan I've met have been the most amazing people in the world.
I've been scrolling through AKF (Always Keep Fighting) things for a few hours now and it's helped me more than anything ever has. I love you all so much. And I know that J2M will most likely never see this or most of the posts that are made in here like this but I just hope they know how unbelievably loved they are. And I hope whoever is reading this right now does too.

   Dean breathed in deeply, the sharp smell of the gulf filling his entire body. He loves the ocean. Though I could do without the sand stuck everywhere he thought to himself, wiping the sand off the impalaâs hood. He leaned against the beloved car and looked out over the coast again. Heâd been to the ocean many a time of course, multiple times a year the brothers would get a small case near the shore and Dean would excitedly bring it up to Sam. Sam this time had wanted to finish up something for Bobby and decided to come up a day later. So so far the experience was just him, Jack, and Cas. Cas.... Dean looks over at the angel ordering burgers for all of them. He smiles as he remembers when they first met. And Dean had friggin STABBED HIM. Jack, who had been looking down at his phone moments ago, looks up at Dean and remarks,Â
âDean whatâre you so happy about?â Dean glances over.
 âNothing, just wondering what kind of trouble Sammy is getting into.â Jack looks Dean straight in the eyes, knowing heâs lying. But he decides not to confront him about it, and goes back to trying out Snapchat filters. Dean looks back out at the ocean. Itâs just so beautiful. And blue. Like the blue eyes of someone else he knows. Deanâs mind turns back to Cas once again. He knows he wants Cas. Heâs known for years. But is that what Cas wanted too? Dean shifts his feet around as his mind drifts further into its fantasy. He could just imagine their first kiss. He would hold Cas in his arms, looking into his beautiful sea eyes, and then heâs kiss him until his mouth was hurting, and then heâd continue and-
âDean?â Dean suddenly has his thoughts broken. Cas is smiling at him, holding out a take-out bag from the burger stand. âI got you your burger, fries, and beer but from the way you were zoned out I donât think you really need that beer...â He smiles and Dean feels his own face grin uncontrollably. He just laughs lightly. âNo itâs fine Iâm just-â
Jack cuts in, âHeâs thinking about Sam again. I think heâs worried about how heâs doing since heâs not there.â Dean makes a face at Jack. âNo, Iâm not worried about him, Sam will be fine. Actually,â Dean pauses, looking at his watch, âHe should be here in a few hours. You guys want to take a walk?â Jack nods eagerly and Cas voices his agreement. So after Dean finishes his burger which, in case you were wondering, was under 3 minutes later, the three set off on a walk down the beach. Jack tried walking next to Cas and Dean but then decided that was no fun and went running to the waterâs edge, running as far as he could into it before Cas called him back. Dean looked at Cas, and his soft brown hair waving gently in the breeze. Cas turns to look at Dean, his eyes dancing with the reflection of the setting sun.
âHello Dean.â Cas says in his rough and low voice. Heâs trying to sound serious but his smile ruins the effect. âWhats on your mind? Youâve been so quiet? Whatâs wrong?â Dean shakes his head.
âNo cas, nothings the matter. everything is perfect.â Well, almost perfect. The two walk along in silence again for a while, watching Jack playing in the waves. No one would guess that the kid yelling at waves hit his clothes and dashing after schools of fish was God. He just looked like any little kid. Dean realised that his hand was brushing against Casâs as they were standing watching Jack. He looked over at Cas to find that he was looking back at Dean. Cas looks down at their hands and laughs, entangling his fingers with Deans. Dean smiles back, unsure on what he should do. Cas simply keeps his hand in Deans as he watches Jack again.
âDean?â
Dean feels his pulse quicken. âYeah Cas? Whats up?â
Cas looks at Dean again, trying to keep a straight face. Dean can tell he was holding in a grin however.
âWhich is bluer? My eyes, the ocean, or the sky?â
 Dean laughs slightly. âThat is the cheesiest thing Iâve ever heard. Well, almost.â But Cas keeps looking at him, obviously waiting for a reply. Dean looks up at the sky, the crashing waves, and then deep into Casâs eyes. He pulls Cas around slightly, facing him. He takes a deep breath and steps slightly closer to Cas. âCas...â He says slowly, his heartbeat thumping in his ears. Cas looks up at Dean, not saying anything. Sill smiling lightly. âKnow what? Fuck this.â Dean drops Casâs hand and reaches up to his face, holding his neck gently. He presses his lips to Casâs, tasting how sweet they are. He holds Cas for a second just like that, as he feels Casâs hands settling on his back, Cas pushing against Dean slightly.
âFinally! I win my bet with Sam!â Dean and Cas break apart suddenly. Jack is jogging up to them, a big grin on his face. Dean feels his face turning pink. Did he just kiss Cas in front of Jack? He knows heâll never live such a thing down. Jack goes on as Cas holds Deanâs hand lightly again, smiling at him. âYou see, Sam bet that you too would kiss within an hour of being alone, I said itâd be less than that, and so see what we did was-â Dean looks at Casâs smiling face as Cas listens to Jacks eager rambling.
   Dean loves the blue ocean. He never thought anything would replace that love. But now when he looks into Casâs eyes with their foreheads pressed together, there couldnât be anything more beautiful.
(also just a sidenote completely unrelated to the fanfic, I finally fixed my writing fonts so now they look official and Iâm way too proud of figuring that out and now i shall be overusing them :)

i am, as a rule, not into rpf shipping. i have no problem with people who are, it just feels kind of weird and invasive to me so i generally avoid it.

but itâs important to make clear that if either of them EVER seemed uncomfortable with us shipping them and making jokes and comments, i would absolutely stop. i respect them and i donât ever want to make them feel creeped out or like their privacy is violated. but the thing is, they not just ânot uncomfortableâ, they very deliberately egg us on. misha loves to make âcocklesâ puns, they happily do silly photo ops implying theyâre together, and they both love to post photos of themselves together, knowing quite well how we go crazy for it.Â

every time they have a panel together (which usually only happens at the yearly roman convention known as jibcon), their antics get wilder. the first time i went âwait...â was in 2013, when they dry-humped onstage.
and by 2019, we have jensen eagerly throwing himself down on the stage (to reenact a scene between castiel and sam) so misha could get on top of him and mime choking him, and then pretty obviously getting a boner because of it (video). oh and i canât possibly leave out the kissing (bonus gifs, and more), or the panel where jensen got drunk and opened his pants to show misha his underwear.
