Sneak preview of a piece I've been working on. This idea has been floating around in my head for a long time now, as it's a dedication piece to my dog that passed a few years ago. My intent is to put it on a hoodie in white ink, so hopefully I can test that out soon!
Grief is expressed in many ways and I'm glad I'm able to vent my grief with my art, even if this did take me years to start.
There is no time limit on healing, hang in there.
An update to an oldie! I'm re-doing my "PREVAIL" piece so I can apply it to a new media.
Linoleum! I've been practicing lino-cutting for a bit now and I'm using some older pieces to update and apply for practice and learning. This is intended for larger scale lino-cuts, at least 11x14! Once I'm familiar with lino-cuts, I may move on to woodblock printing for the long-term. I'm super excited and will be posting progress and behind-the-scenes stuff soon!
I was given the prompt “Chimera” and here is the result. Work in progress but will be painted!

Render progress. Adding some dimension and light/dark to each segment of bone.
