-it’s Parks & Rec meets courtroom drama -it’s basically a giant parody of crime docs a la The Staircase -fairly diverse cast considering it takes place in small town South Carolina -LGBT representation-especially bisexual -its funny as hell -you like the trope of group of co-workers become a family? this is the show for you -even though it’s sitcom you can treat it how y'all treat dramas and analyze the shit out of it for theories -josh/carol anne is the love-hate on opposite sides otp I’ve seen in a million fanfics actually on screen -dwayne/summer is kinda weird and won’t happen but it’s still hilarious to watch and it’s made clear when dwayne is being weird about it too instead of the show treating it as romantic -the cast is fairly attractive if you’re into that - not only is the main cast funny as hell-but every supporting and side character is equally hilarious and adds so much to the show -it’s made clear that the Rich White Man is being offensive when he is -like father/son dynamics like jake/holt? Oh boy this is your show -Josh, dwayne, and anne is the golden trio if the golden trio had no idea what they were doing-so it’s just like Harry Potter i guess -John lithgow is a national treasure

It follows the East Peck witch trials of 1994 which have been talked about since season 1 and I’m so excited to see where it leads and what kind of shitstorm it will cause

Josh x Carol Anne fills everyone’s heart with joy (don’t fight me on this it’s a fact) and we need to see how their relationship develops

Ann and Dwayne is the best friendship I have ever seen in a tv show and I love it so much

I also really desperately want to see Carol Anne form a closer bond with the whole team even though she is their opposition

The writing is INCREDIBLE!! There are jokes literally every 5 seconds and the plot always has unexpected twists and turns

You know how characters normally just follow stereotypes? Yeah well not in East Peck

I honestly haven’t seen a single bad review for the show.

Sorry JOSH IS BECOMING A FATHER FIGURE! well, maybe. We need s3 to find out whether he wants to be part of Princess’ upbringing (which duh he probably will)

It’s funny as heck

because the premise is completely original and the cast and crew are amazing just like the show itself. It’s extremely underestimated but hopefully, in the future, more people will discover it and its glory and realise they should have been watching it from the very beginning.
