This is a short documentary I scored for the Karanba charity.

Karanba is a social project in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With football as an instrument, Karanba helps a large number of children and young people from slum areas with achieving personal development, education and giving them the means to express themselves. Karanba gathers and engages people in a tough everyday life strongly affected by crime and drug trafficking.

Bloco na Rua I did the sound design for this short film by my friend Brede Korsmo for Wicked Wax Productions. A film shot on the streets of Rio de Janerio during the Carnaval of 2012 & 2013 The film atempts to portray the energy of the people of Rio during the celebration of their famous "Carnaval de Rua". The film takes the viewer on a journey through the cities many bloco's & streets, while the crew encounter various members of the public at the peak of their festive season. The film tries to capture the back beat of the city, the warmth, the joy, the rhythm and the many fantasies created for this earthquake of a party...
