“It’s not just that though! He teased the world with a video for The Black Parade, so everyone thought they’d come back but they didn’t. Ripped my little heart to shreds.”

“Ahh yeah I heard about that, but I didn’t pay much attention. Though reading the tweets from some fans were kind of entertaining.”

“I mean you still could, what’s stopping you?”

“Actually, I couldn’t because he broke my damn heart, man.”

“Did he get married? I mean, you could still go after him, I mean. If you’re willing to take it that far. Or you know, buddy up with who he’s married to, to get closer to them.”

“I never listened to them much back then, but I’m sure they would be just as bad ass.”

“I mean you still could, what’s stopping you?”

“Do you ever think of just how bad ass My Chemical Romance would be if they were still together today?”

“I never listened to them much back then, but I’m sure they would be just as bad ass.”

Jaylon whined a bit when his foot was nudged, only more so to annoy Beau then anything. “I have eaten more then my share of veggies, milk and other stuff that you can’t even imagine, so hush. I just didn’t grow into a giant unlike you.” He rolled his eyes but smiled at the other. “Yeah, I didn’t know where you went off to, you left earlier then I did so. And I mean, dehydration wouldn’t be that bad. You’d have a raisin for a roomie.” Jaylon flashed him a smile. 

Hearing the whine, Beau just gave Jaylon the side eye and shook his head. “Stop bein’ such a baby. I hardly touched you.” he said as he grabbed the bottle of water from Jaylon and took a sip of it himself. “Oh yeah? Like what, hm? You’ve caught my attention.” he said as he crossed one leg over the other, arms leaned behind him and holding himself up as he kept his gaze on Jaylon. “Had to go talk to my hundreds of girlfriends you know. Apparently people go crazy over that Southern charm thing. Who woulda thought?”

“You hurt me so much just with that, it may have just seemed like hardly a touch to you, but it hurt. It hurt.” Jaylon said as he placed a hand on his chest, trying not to laugh as he looked up at the other. Shrugging he grinned. “I’ve eaten spiders, scorpions, a couple worm things. Did you forget where I’m from?” He asked, tilting his head then snorted a little bit. “I don’t know where you got that idea from, I mean, it’s not that big of a deal.”

“You bring shitty pretty boys back to bed? I wouldn’t even go through with it to be honest.” Jaylon said, shrugging a bit. “But I mean, to each their own so, can’t judge.” He said and then chuckled. “Hey now, it was a good question, conversation starter if you will.” 

“Well I don’t usually assume they’ll be shitty. I usually figure that out after they’ve already blinded me by their beauty,” he laughed with a shrug of his own. “I don’t think it was a good one, a bland one definitely. A very small talkie one but not really good. Especially when you already knew the answer just by looking at me.”

Jaylon raised his brows and nodded. “You do have a point, but I mean at least halfway through sleeping with them, you don’t just say no, or anything?” He asked then snorted at the others response. “I wouldn’t have known you were a student, you could have been a TA with a baby face.”

“Well don’t feel too ashamed, some people won’t even bother trying with a pick up line, at least you had the decency to do it.” Jaylon said as he leaned up on his elbows when the other sat beside him. “You go to the school as well?”

“That’s a shame. Usually the flirting’s half the fun. Sometimes even more fun when a pretty boy’s shitty in bed,” Robbie shrugged a little before nodding his head. “Wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t,” he answered as his hands went to mindlessly pick at the pile of dried grass next to his left foot. 

“You bring shitty pretty boys back to bed? I wouldn’t even go through with it to be honest.” Jaylon said, shrugging a bit. “But I mean, to each their own so, can’t judge.” He said and then chuckled. “Hey now, it was a good question, conversation starter if you will.” 

Jaylon laughed lightly and shrugged. “Trust me, I’ve heard worse ones then that. It would be pretty smooth if I was one to let people sit on my face.” He grinned. “Pleasure lovely, I’m Jaylon.”

“I’m sure you probably have but this is turning into a mighty big shame all the same,” he sighed shaking his head. He didn’t peg him as a bottom but he’d been wrong about that before. “Pleasure’s mine, Jaylon,” he smiled as he decided to sit down on the ground. That sure beat standing around. 

“Well don’t feel too ashamed, some people won’t even bother trying with a pick up line, at least you had the decency to do it.” Jaylon said as he leaned up on his elbows when the other sat beside him. “You go to the school as well?”

Jaylon looked over at the other person as he laid on the towel in the field, squinting his eyes from the sun behind his shades. “I will pay you ten dollars to stand in front of the sun for me for a couple hours. Ten dollars and beer.”

“Have you seen my complexion? I’m gonna need a heftier price tag than that for all the physical and emotional trauma you expect me to go through — how about jelly bellies, too? I’m always a tramp for jelly bellies.”

“Physical and emotional trauma? Okay when you put it like that, you have a point. I would at least give you some water and a hat.” Jaylon shrugged his shoulders and then chuckled. “Jelly bellies, I’m sure I can grab a few for you.”

Taking the bottle of water from him, Jaylon couldn’t hold back the snort that left his mouth but laughed none the less. “I mean, you are taller then I am, so you can be a tree. Just kind of spread your arms out and it’ll be golden.” Jaylon grinned over at him and shrugged. “Nice day out, why not?”

Rolling his eyes, Beau nudged Jaylon in the leg with his foot. “Not my fault you’re the size of a hobbit. Should have eaten your veggies and drank your milk so you could grow big and strong like yours truly.” Beau said and pointed to himself. “And you came by yourself? I’m a little offended. Maybe I wanted to come along and enjoy the day too. You’re lucky I texted you just in time too, could have dehydrated out in this bullshit.”

“Wow, well that attempt to flirt totally flopped. Noted,” he laughed though his cheeks were a little more rosy than before he tried to put on the smooth moves with the guy. “My name’s Robbie by the way, not just human sunblocker.”

Jaylon laughed lightly and shrugged. “Trust me, I’ve heard worse ones then that. It would be pretty smooth if I was one to let people sit on my face.” He grinned. “Pleasure lovely, I’m Jaylon.”

Jaylon blinked a couple times and shrugged a little bit at the shorter man standing in front of him. “True, but you could just stand in front of my face so I don’t get blinded.”

“Sit in front of your face or sit on your face? ‘Cause in theory I’d be fine with both,” he joked deciding that he could hang around a little longer. He had nothing else to do and working on his tan didn’t sound like a bad idea. 

“If you sat on my face, there would legit be no comfortable way to even do that, so sitting in front of my face would be the better option there.” Jaylon said as he just laughed lightly at the others joke.

Beau looked over at Jaylon and rolled his eyes with a bottle of water held in his hands, handing it over to him. “The fuck do I look like? A tree? ‘Cause I don’t throw shade like that.” he said with a little grin before he sat down beside the other. “Why’re you even out here?”

Taking the bottle of water from him, Jaylon couldn’t hold back the snort that left his mouth but laughed none the less. “I mean, you are taller then I am, so you can be a tree. Just kind of spread your arms out and it’ll be golden.” Jaylon grinned over at him and shrugged. “Nice day out, why not?”

Robbie looked down at the man laying on his towel. His own shadow barely casted a shadow over a third of the space he was occupying. “Well, I’m only 5′6. I think you might want to save that kind of payment for someone who can actually block more sun than this.”

Jaylon blinked a couple times and shrugged a little bit at the shorter man standing in front of him. “True, but you could just stand in front of my face so I don’t get blinded.”

“It does, but at the same time, gotta give them at least some empathy.” He replied to her as he watched in amusement at her theatrics. “Very true, sadly that was the high light of my day. Did not do much else besides unpack and try and finish that up, which did not happen.”

“Yeah,I guess. Makes you better than me in that regard. Eww, unpacking?” She made a face, scrunching her nose. “That’s the worst. I would offer to help, but… I y’know, I hate unpacking.” A laugh. “I can offer you dazzling conversation though instead.”

“I mean, technically not, since I was considering pulling out my phone and filming it but.” Jaylon said and chuckled. “Unpacking, yep, I mean, I don’t blame you. I do too, hence why I haven’t finished it just yet and it’s been a month or so now.” He grinned. “Dazzling conversation? What will that entail?”

“Unfortunately no, I mean, I was full on prepared to whip out my phone until the guy caught me and looked even more in despair.” He sighed and shrugged a little bit, chuckling softly when he saw her grin. 

“You need to be like ninja fast on that shit, man! You can’t be lettin’ folks catch you about to commemorate their misery; it takes the fun out of everything!” A hand falls on her forehead in fake despair, sighing loudly as she cracks open an eye after a few beats, giggles falling past lips. “Ah, well. At least you have a story though. What else happened in your day aside from ‘Mr Cries a Lot’?”

“It does, but at the same time, gotta give them at least some empathy.” He replied to her as he watched in amusement at her theatrics. “Very true, sadly that was the high light of my day. Did not do much else besides unpack and try and finish that up, which did not happen.”
