The Road Travelled So Far.

So if you read my welcome page, you will know that I was diagnosed in 2015 with Spinocerebellar Ataxia type 2 (SCA2) and have taken up attempting to write a blog as a means of dealing with it. Yesterday I made my annual trip down to London to visit the Ataxia clinic at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery where I saw Professor Giunti and her team.

The outcome of the appointment was excellent with no major changes from last year. The only small change was that my speech was a little worse.
