Sometimes I think about how different I was 5 years ago. It’s kinda weird because many things changed and some of those changes really lead to who I am now.
Before, my attitude used to be more quiet and shy. I wouldn’t talk a lot in class and I would keep many things for myself. Because of that, it caused me to feel more alone sometimes. Now I try to be more open and talk more with people, even if it still feels a little awkward.
My hobbies also changed a lot. I used to spend most of my time just watching random videos or doing nothing. But during the pandemic I started trying new things. That situation lead to me discovering things I actually enjoy, like listening to music more and spending time online reading stuff or posting things.
My routine was very different too. I used to wake up, go to school, come back home and basically repeat the same thing everyday. The pandemic really affected my routine, and it resulted in me having more time to think about myself and what I like.
With family and friends, some things changed and some stayed the same. I used to talk more with some friends before, but life changes and people go different ways. That caused some distance, but it also helped me understand which people are really important in my life.
Finally, my goals and desires changed the most. Before I didn’t really think about the future. I would just live day by day. But growing up led to me thinking more about what I want for myself and what kind of person I want to be.
So yeah… in 5 years many small things changed, and all those things together result in the person I am now
