Adventure's Out There

wow. It’s been such a long time since I’ve been on tumblr but c’est la vie. I’ve grown up so much since my golden tumblr days and if I’m being honest grief is the friend who draws me back. I suppose this will be a good outlet for me to share off the cuff, raw poetry as I continue to deal with the passing of my mom 2.4 years after her death.

When we sit around the table and give our thanks, know that mine is for the forgiveness you gave. for the selflessness you had to endure to come out strong in the end. 

When they ask who do you miss the most, know it’s you. Even if I dont think about you daily, talk about you to others, or even remember the good times because to do so would to mean everyday I’d be crying. 

When you left I wonder if you thought of me. In those seven minutes before you met Him how much of it was of me? With so many years apart what would be the memories you’d choose.
