"Well, that's good to know." Arun grinned, giving the other man a high-five-fist-bump combo. "I was starting to worry!" At Jason's explanation, however, he shook his head, chuckling. "Boy, do I," he teased. "That's completely understandable. Want to decompress some more, then?" He laughed.

"C'mon you're like my best friend!" he wasn't sure he even had one of those but Arun was one of the better people this town had to offer. "My bad," he had thought about sending a text but the thought left as quickly as it came while trying to get dressed. He nodded in response as they entered and easily found a seat. "So what's new with you? How're your friends, the fish?"

"Hey Azra," he greeted back as the brunette neared. He had switched his position from outside to inside, easily making his way to his preferred spot. He was able to see most of Sirens at this vantage point and luckily for him it was a slower night. "Theoretically," he began with a shake to his head, "I would totally be there to kick his ass out sure. That's why they pay me the big bucks!" he jokes before looking around. "Someone giving you a hard time?"

Jason didn't really know how he ended up agreeing to this, but there wasn't much he wouldn't agree to given the right circumstance. "When was that?" he asked curiously, purposefully taking his time to tie the laces. He didn't recall the last time he was here and the last thing he wanted to do today was fall on his ass and embarrass himself in front of Anya. "How about," he grinned looking towards her, "I watch you and root you on from here? Show me how it's done."

Brooke walks into mama's and as unfortunate as it is... She spots him immediately. It's almost pathetic how she finds him in a crowd so easily. She walks over to his table and places her fingers against the surface. Her lips part to say something sarcastic or something she knows is going to instantly send him over the edge but before she can spit out a single word he's telling her she's not in the mood. She furrows her brows as she takes in his demeanor. He's been the only person the last ten years to consistently stick around her despite how much the two of them couldn't stand each other. "Now... now... When are you never in the mood for me?" She murmurs as she slides in to the booth across from him.

Jason settled his glass back down as she spoke, a slight softening of his features at the sentiment. Despite the insults they volleyed back and forth, and the way she found a particularly new way to lodge her way under his skin, Brooke had been a constant in his life. Much like his job, his home, even his dad... The brunette was much a part of his life though he'd rather die than admit it aloud. "Now." he retorts as she settles across him, "I feel like getting your ears checked would solve so many problems." He knew the real reason was that she simply didn't want to hear him. The women reminded him of himself sometimes, just doing as she pleased despite what others thought about it. "I had a long shift last night," he offers as an explanation not wanting to get into his family drama here or with her.

Jason smiled as he quickened his pace to reach where Arun stood. "Ditch you? Never," he chuckled pulling in front of the coffee shop. He had promised they'd catch up the night before but that was before his shift took more out of him. "Last night was hectic at work and you know me..." he opened the door as they entered. "Needed to decompress with a drink or two."

Living in one place all your life, especially in a town like this, was that not much happened that he didn't know about. From new additions to a family, to breakups, to opening of new businesses, Jason felt like he knew this place like the back of his hand. Entering Zero Degrees for first time he couldn't help his surprise, it was a business venture he thought would have happened years ago. "Wow," he looked at the flavours and noticed Junho speaking. "Other than it's the most basic flavour to exist right after vanilla?" he teases looking back at the options.

Brooke: idk life would be boring if i could push your buttons, I've been doing it for 12 years...
