In this vast blue ocean, a small green sea turtle swims. Let's call him Finn. Finn is very little compared to the big world around him, but he has very big feet like paddles that push him through the water. He has just come out from under the sandy beach where he was born. The warm sun made him grow inside his egg shell until he was strong enough to push his way out. Now, his only job is to swim.
Finn paddles hard, heading away from the land. The water feels cool and nice on his small shell. He looks up and sees the bright, cloudy sky. Above him, big birds with long, white wings are flying in circles. Below him, everything is dark and deep. There are other creatures here, too. Sometimes, a group of very fast fishes swims past him. They look like shiny silver streaks in the water. Finn does not know where he is going, but he keeps swimming. His small fins go flap-flap-flap, making him glide.
The green sea turtle in this picture is trying very hard to grow big and strong. If he keeps swimming and finds food to eat, one day, he will return to the same beach where he was born. He will be a giant sea turtle then. He is still too young, though. Right now, he is just one small green sea turtle swimming through the endless blue ocean, a beautiful, tiny part of the big wide world.
