Problems of the Moon Sign
Aries: I need to find security in others. Maybe I am facing the world on my own, but that doesn’t mean I have to live in it alone. Weakness is not found in community, but in the constant rejection of it.
Taurus: I need to stop seeing things through a rosy pair of glasses. The romanticizing of everything I see only makes it hurt more when I see things for what, or who, they really are.
Gemini: I need to breathe, to stop worrying. Though it is important to identify the reasons for my anxiety, sometimes it’s just better to stop dipping my toes in the water and dive right in without worrying about drowning.
Cancer: I need to reduce my tendency to live in what used to be. The past is a beautiful place to visit, never a place to stay, and sometimes I forget this. There is a future for me, and I need to start looking for that.
Leo: I need to become more subtle with my negative emotions. Of course it’s good to tell people of how I feel, but when it comes at the expense of someone else’s comfort I begin to put my emotions before theirs.
Virgo: I need to let things be, to stop wondering and asking so often. Sometimes asking so many questions isn’t what will lead to the answers I need, sometimes it just comes down to listening and silence.
Libra: I need to stop feeling like I need someone else to complete me, that I’m enough for myself and I’m capable of filling my own cup.
Scorpio: I need to let go of this strong need to dominate, to be in control of everything. Letting go is a challenge met with vulnerability, a quality that terrifies me
Sagittarius: I need to become brave enough to stay committed to something. Maybe a lot of things aren’t worth staying with, maybe I’m not good enough to stay with.
Capricorn: I need to learn what it means to feel. It isn’t enough to keep it inside and to wait for the storm in me to subside, I need to garner the power in me to let that emotion out.
Aquarius: I need to keep myself stable in the face of criticism. There is a thin line that separates insult and advice, and I’ve yet to discern this line for myself.
Pisces: I need to know that it’s ok to not be everyone’s personal therapist. I already feel too intensely from my own emotions, and the emotions of others only worsens it.
