Saxophone (?) in the first main section of Die Goldene Sieben's "Wenn die Nächte leuchten." Probably just coincidentally, the notes bridging the seventh and eighth measures have the same interval and roughly the same rhythm as the "knock of fate" from Beethoven's Symphony No. 5.

I figured this out nearly nine years ago but wrote it down just as note letters because I couldn't figure out the rhythms in order to notate it. I listened to Ticket to Ride again to-day (because it's Karen Carpenter's birthday) and realized that I got hung up by the triplets!
