I got to do stuff this week!

It was Paige’s (my office seat mate) birthday and we had a simple surprise. She was touched by our efforts and we had pretty good cake. After that, we decided to go to Crying Tiger and have dinner. Wasn’t really able to document it thru nice pictures but it was fun.

The middle of the week was pretty interesting. My officemates and I find new ways to enjoy our OTs. Mikee brought her bentonite clay for us to try. It was kinda funny to have clay on our faces in the office but the result was worth it. I’d love to get a jar of bentonite clay for myself after that lol.

It’s the new year, and I’m quite optimistic. I’m getting my groove back again and I will try to share snippets of my week.

I went back to work this week, and it involved 2 free lunches from officemates/company and I am not complaining. I documented most of my activities at work but unfortunately they only last for 24 hours lol (Snapchat/Instagram). I’ll try to take nice photos next time so I can tell better stories (or even remember them lol).

I also made a new playlist for all my January 2017 favorites. It’s a mix of new and old songs that I can’t stop playing on repeat. You can listen to it here.

I haven't been going out lately to repay the damage I did to my wallet. It also dawned to me that I will be leaving the country soon and I haven't saved a single bit for the trip. The only time I spent some real cash this week was for grocery and I think it's a great investment. (Am I boring you out with my attempt at adulthood yet?)

Writing these has been a mystery lately. It's been a while since I've really shared how my life goes by and it may need some getting used to. I can't even construct cohesive paragraphs and I apologize.

The weekend has been bliss. I stayed at home and just played games on my laptop the whole day. My eyes hurt a bit but the gamer in me is happy. Aside from that, I encountered 2 beautiful sunsets which reminded me of those back home. Bold colors that make the sky look so grand. I have taken quite a few photos (finally).

My cat seems to be enjoying the view.

Recounting my activities over the last 48 hours, I may have had a “TREAT YO SELF” weekend. I was enjoying a body scrub last night and had my face mask on. I also made a hot chocolate with red wine on it. It’s been great.
