Reflections
My passion to create and share work, to create contemplation of our processes, choices and allowing time to honour our needs as individuals.
Resolved work can come about from being open to allowing creative development through both process and playful elimination. By examining the narrative that time and motion speak of, with the intentions that the materials collectively create.
Then being open to dismantling these components, this process can reduce any confusing or inferred reading associated with the work.
This process allows me to begin collecting, experimenting and identifying materials and concepts that I can later filter, distil and distort within the context of new work. The distortion of the imagery being projected onto, through and beyond the hanging of the materials within the gallery space gives the audience the opportunity to choose if they wish to engage with my work in the space.
