Today was unfuck my cat's cat tree. Poor cat has been without a very good scratching post in her favorite spot on the tree. So I flipped that post over and gave it 180°. Then vacuumed all the steps that were in desperate need of a cleaning. The whole project took around 30 minutes. And here's the very excited/happy kitty.

When I was a kid in elementary school, our art teacher would tell us what patterns were (something that repeats itself over and over) and then he’d ask us to draw patterns. He’d come around the class to look at everyone’s patterns and offer words of encouragement. I always draw patterns like this, and he’d always look at them and say “Okay” and walk away. I don’t think he liked my patterns, but I liked them, and they certainly didn’t look anything like the other kids’ patterns.
