"Well if I knew the reason why - I wouldn't have this problem now, would I?" the girl sighed softly. "Jane Abrams." she introduced herself while reaching her hand out to shake.

Isaac kind of looked at the cake, his brow slowly rising. He thought he was doing much better with coping, but… Isaac’s jaw slackened before he got the chance to smile at the waitress. “Yeah, thanks," Isaac called out after her, dipping his fork into the sponge-y treat. 

Jane continued with her work but her gaze time to time still went back to the guy who was eating the free cake, there was something odd about him and this feeling was rare to her, only a few gave her that vibe. With her mind somewhere else she tripped on some spilled coffee on the floor, right by the guy's table, and went crashing down with cups and all. "Fuck!" she yelled annoyed.
