Night Walk || James and Blake
“Yeah, well if I don’t want to get caught sneaking out after curfew then yeah. I resort to the window.” he laughs as he explained. “It doesn’t hurt much anymore.. I’m quite use to doing this actually…” Blake stuck his hands into the pockets of his coat and turned over to James who seemed to be really nervous and tense about something. He looks to his brother and asks, “Something wrong..” he raised an eyebrow and looked confusedly at him. “You seem kind of… umm.. worried…” Blake stopped walking in the middle and waited for James to give him an answer.
"Oh," James replied simply, to Blake's explanation of jumping out windows. He pressed his lips together, idly staring about the sky, nerves wracking him into tension. There was no use in regretting his escape, he realized, but that didn't mean he'd just made himself worried. His thoughts were interrupted once again by Blake's voice. "Hm?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. He'd noticed Blake had stopped walking. James stopped, too, running his hand through his hair several times. "Oh. I'm fine," he assured Blake, even though he really wasn't, and he was questioning why the hell he'd even asked Blake if he could tag along, anyway. "Not worried." James fathomed a smile, but it was obvious that it was fake.
