Makeup is one of the women’s partners in crime to the extent that they cannot go a day without a kit in their purse. By definition, according to google, makeup is a cosmetics such as lipstick or powder applied to the face, used to enhance or alter its physical appearance.
Let me unveil one of my secrets, it’s not about the cosmetics I’m wearing but it’s all about me. . .
You all know that I was raised in a province 8-12 hours away from Manila. That just means, I grew up with a very simple life, and seeing a bare face in my daily life was a norm. Not until I knew how to use the mouse and web, I see brand new different faces everyday on my screen. I also got to watch a bunch of people with makeups. One day while I was on youtube, a makeup tutorial was suggested. I clicked the video not because I wanted to but I was so curious. I had fun watching the first one until it became a thread and one time, I caught myself doing what’s on the video – a step-by-step makeup tutorial.
Enough from a throwback story, let’s now go inside my beauty kit. Again, I’m just a newbie in beauty matters, like a newborn baby.
Here are the latest products I’m using:
First thing, I make sure that my skin is ready for makeup, I keep it hydrated using my Mary Kay Timewise moisturizer. It takes away the peeling feels and makes it instantly ready for makeup application. Because I am a nurse, when I'm on night duties I always go home with unwanted black bags carried by my eyes. I use Clinique de-puffing eye massage to eliminate them.
I'm using a Maybelline Fit Me! Matte+Poreless Foundation. I'm still in the process of discovering what products suit me best. When I was at the drugstore in Canada, the beauty agent suggested for me to try this in my normal to oily face. I got one shade lighter than my skin, number 112. So far, I love it because it's easy to blend using my brush and it doesn't create cakey and oily outcome. On top of it, I apply my Maybelline (Master Conceal) Concealer in medium, on areas with acne and scars. Acnes love to hangout on my forehead, in between my brows that's where I put dots of concealer and blend it in using my sponge through light tapping. Apart from that, I apply my concealer under my eyes making an inverted triangle to perfectly hide my eyebags.
To finish my base, I apply Mac Studio Fix in NC35. Using its sponge, I apply it all over my face with light tapping. This shade is two shade lighter than my face but its amazing how it gives a perfect finish. (PS: I recycled old photo because it’s almost finished and the MAC print was erased since it’s mixed up with other cosmetics on my kit.)
For the eyebrows, I keep changing brands 'cause I can't seem to meet my satisfaction. Though, I'm still mastering the shapes and shades in consequence, I decided to use affordable and drugstore products. Last week, I bought an retractable brow pencil in light brown from LA Girls. This works for me. The color is perfect and it is convenient to use, I don't need to resharpen every now and then.
I used my contouring kit as my eyeshadow. I used the darker shade on the lower part and making it lighter as it goes up. I don't exactly know from where this contouring kit is since my mom gave it to me. I usually use a liquid eyeliner than the pencil one because I find the pencil messy for some reasons. I use a Nichido Liquid Eyeliner. This is the only drugstore eyeliner I trust. It doesn't give you blackeyes when you wet and try to erase it since it's not residuary. It's like a thin clay applied to the eyes. Lastly, curl up the lashes and put on the mascara. I use Nichido eyelash defining mascara. It's not stated on the tube if it's waterproof or not but it works like one for me. I love how it extends my upper and lower lashes. So natural!
Chubby cheeks? Sure! I got a contour kit to make them look sexy. As I've mentioned, I don't know from where this is. Sorry! But I am using a highlighter from LA Girls which is my latest favorite. It's my first time to buy and wear a highlighter anyway, and I am loving the shine I got from it.

Have you ever doubted the power of backpacks? Do you always have second thoughts of wearing it with your full-blown chic outfit? You must read this 'cause believe me, I was once unconfident with it.
Everything in the world of fashion is worth trying. Something that looks odd unworn may give you the halo you've been searching for when tried on. A backpack seated on a chair may look either playful & childish, not unless you got the right coordinates. Impressions don't last forever, anyway. Just try and say goodbye to your wrong impressions.
Will I look full-blown while wearing a backpack or will I look more like Dora The Explorer?
I honestly don't go crazy over backpacks before. I felt like I was regressing everytime I attempt wearing a backpack, or worse, I don't want strangers mistaking that I'm a highschool student considering my height and my features.
However, I discovered that the best way to look full-blown chic doesn't depend on what you wear, but on how you wear them & act. A handbag doesn't differ with backpack, they're both bags. Although, you can distinguish a matured one wearing it to that of graders.
I just gained the ground lately. I am proud to bring out that I am currently a "Certified Backpack Hoarder." I'm not in any place doubtful of taking in backpacks on my OOTDs, not anymore. I feel confidently looking chic with it just like any other bags.
Why We Should Never Outgrow a Backpack:
1. Universal To Any Style
Regardless to what's your taste into fashion, if you're minimalist, hippie, boho, vintage, punk not to mention everything, backpack can mingle with you. Howbeit, there are different types of backpacks like fringe, which is usually seen on boho. It doesn't matter that much though, as I've said just wear it with confidence and walk straight. Everything else will follow.
2. Shopping-loving
Do you love shopping and just hate too much on your hands? I do! Thereupon, I carry my backpack with me on a shopping day so I don't need to carry so much shopping bags with my bare hands. And even if I put 5 small bags in it, it is still comfy because I got back support and at the same time, my shoulders are carrying balance weight. How solicitous?
3. Ecstatic Makeup Kit
Women know the struggle of wearing a clutch bag. This just means that only necessary makeup stuff like mirror, pressed powder and lipstick can join you on your errands. But when wearing a backpack, you're worry-free. You can bring all shades of your lipsticks if you want. How happy are you, makeup junkie?
These are my top reasons why I'll never outgrow a backpack. You will probably see me rocking more backpacks. If you're not as comfortable as I was before in wearing backpacks, try again and see the difference!
Hair is every woman’s obsession. We keep dying until we satisfy ourselves, and some people would bleach it just to achieve their blonde-dreams. I am guilty of this. I took all the risks knowing that my hair will be damaged when I bleach it. I’ve been dealing with my damaged hair for months now. I had it trimmed for 2 inches and I don’t want to go higher. With my current long hair, I already look like 5 years younger than my age, what more if I cut it short?

Achingly dry!
Time to shampoo to flash the dirt & excess oil! With my hair expert - Ms. Hayde. While rinsing, she asked me infos about my hair. I admitted that I did bleached my hair by myself two times: first bleaching session was only half lower and the second bleaching session was the whole hair. From those details, she instantly know what kind of Biolage she’s going to use on my hair - Repair Inside Shampoo & Hyperdose Concentrate + Scalppure Mask.
Here was when we’re ready for the actual treatment. She applied the repair inside from the roots going down to the tip. She used a fine comb to spread the cream well. Because my hair is long and thick, she had used 3 small tubes of the said cream.
My hair was soaked with Repair Inside Concentrate & Scalppure Mask for 30 mins. While waiting, I did a selfie and conversation with my co-Clozetters.
Ting! Ting! The alarm is ringing an indication that my hair is ready for final washing. Ms. Hayde massage my head while washing my hair as it helps the blood on my scalp area to circulate well.
After the final wash, my hair expert blow dried my hair. She imparted that she’s not going to dry it really well because it is newly treated and the heat of the blow dry will just damage my hair again.
Yay! I’m all done. It really feels that my hair lost some weight after the treatment. Goodbye to my rough and dry hair, hello smooth and healthy hair!

My saturday casual-day outfit! I really like to have multi-ways clothing in my closet. It feels like I have trick the seller for paying one cloth and bringing home 3. Not literally though, just one cloth that I can wear in three different ways. Here’s my latest multi-wear favorite.
1. Wear it as an Off-Shoulder top - Showing a little won't harm you. You can usually use an off-shoulder when attending celebrations like Birthday, Event, etc. It’ll give you an instant sophisticated look just don’t forget to add you signature pieces.
2. One-sided Top - Let them wonder what's in the other side with your one-sided top. You can wear it as one-sided any time. It is flexible, you can be casual, sassy or chic while wearing it.
3. Tube - Tube is summery and it's more of a casual for me. If you're heading to the beach or having a house party, wearing it as a tube is appropriate. Though, you can wear it on your night party as well, just wear it with you hip hugging or pencil cut skirt with pearls and diamonds in your accessories.

Heyya! Guess who just turned 21? Definitely not me but…
My boyfie, my bestie, my man, my life… It may sound like I ate too much corn but no, I’m just inlove. This feeling’s bringing flowery words out of me.
How did I surprise him?
I cannot unriddle any further how hard it was to prepare a birthday surprise for him. We’re always together for almost 11 hours per day, right after work, all day every weekends. Challenging, is it? The only solution I found was to make something simple, like a routine, to make an epic surprise.
Every grocery day, I shop random things and used brown paper to wrap them.

Heyya! It's me in my usual shades but unusual style.
Tadaaa! I've got that coachella vibes in me for a day. A result of tectonically stalking Kendall.
Braiding a layered hair is pretty much laborious, considering the variation of lengths. But, I tried my best to throw a more convincing coachella look. And my hair was fairly cooperative, so I have achieved the hair do that I like.
By the way, how do you like my choker? I just did it myself. Hihi. I bought a plain 12inch laces from the craft store and tied it this way. I made sure it’s not tight and doesn’t make me literally choke to death. (Careful if you want to DIY a choker too)
