Sometimes we have to make the wrong choice to get to the right place.

I pray to God that you are never in a situation where everyone you have ever loved and cared about won't care about you enough to simply ask why things have happened the way they've happened. You would beg those people to hear you out, to give you a chance to tell them everything. Inside, you know that everything you've done was for one reason- to protect those that matter to you most. And if the way you acted cost you those very same relationships, at least you would know that it served a much greater purpose, and in the end, the only people that mattered to you were alive and safe.
