History
Childhood/Family Life:
Jaime was an "accident". Her parents had gotten together after each going through a messy divorce and just wanting to love each other. They had not planned on a "family", bit with the arrival of Jamie, they got married and pretended to be one. They however, didn't really know how to parent. Her father was like a roommate her mother took care of, mildly affectionate and more focused on having his time and his things be his time and his things than getting to know and raising his daughter. Her mother had been raised by a very strict and frequently unkind grandmother and went the complete opposite way with Jamie, treating her as a "friend" and many times as if she was just a tiny adult. While Jamie grew up with no rules, no real structure, and no discipline, she also grew up being mentally, physically, and medically neglected. She didn't have many friends because her parents never made it easy for her to make them. She was very isolated and spends a lot of time in her own head. When her father died suddenly of a heart attack, her mother moved them to Hawkins to find work. They moved into a trailer and Jamie has been dealing with her depressed and grieving mother since.
Education: Entering her Junior Year when they move. She is not a great student because she has some learning disabilities and Attention Deficit but her family had never gotten her medication for it or any other help for it.
