I love my digital camera. But these...  Make me pine for film.

And for the directness of the Pentax K1000.  And for that f1.4 lens.  Eye, Glass, Shutter, Film.

You can go there in digital, if you're willing to spend five grand and carry a heavy full-frame DSLR.  But these were taken on a $100 used camera, with a $150 used lens on it.

A million years ago (OK about five) I started a blog on blogger.com for our family, kid updates etc.  I did about three posts.  Maybe two.

This is another try.  It might stick.  It's simpler now, easier to access, and more media-aware.  Simpler to post video and sound, that kind of thing.

Height:

For years, every now and then I think I need to get a piece of wood we can mark their heights on as they grow.  And everytime I do it's with a twinge of regret we haven't already done it.  At least here are some numbers, these can go on that piece of wood when I get it...

today Isaiah is roughly 47 1.2" tall.  I think that makes him half an inch short of riding some roller coasters.  Which is truly amazing.
