When the fighting in the bar finally petered out, Charlie held her breath. Someone was still moving about; she heard glass grind under a boot, one set of breathing. Was it all over? She warily poked her head out and straightened up. The bar was wrecked, but not as much as she’d expected. “Huh,” she commented under her breath. “What with all the yelling, I thought there’d be more blood and guts.”

It was now that became aware of a hot trickle of blood down her nose. A throbbing sensation radiated from her forehead, and she touched the swollen lump gingerly. A voice behind her had her jerking round in fear; but the woman spoke kindly and had and offered an icepack. Charlie accepted it gratefully. “Holy frack, thanks!” The ice numbed her head, make everything a little less spinny. “What the hell happened? I only came in here for a drink.”

"No idea, some kind of turf war or something," She shrugged. It was a turf war, alright, but not gang related. More like werewolves. "Here, looks like you broke your nose. Can I drive you to the ER? You shouldn't be driving with a concussion like that."

If the girl wasn't concious, or if Lei was sure that she wouldn't remember, she could just heal her, but neither was the case, so she had to rely on humans to get the redhead back on her feet.
