Traveling back to 11th Grade, where in our General Biology class tasked us to make a Herbarium (a process where you can preserve plants by properly drying them and pressing against each other.) and dissecting a frog and also preserving its bones.

The frog dissection was the one I was looking forward to when I enrolled in STEM, because we get to hold a live frog, and open it up alive. Once it was announced to the class, I was very excited and kind of nervous because I don't really enjoy holding slimy things and animals that jump out of nowhere, but with the help of my partners that day, it all went well. Until I have to de-bone the frog, when I got home that day, I placed the dead frog in the container and left it there, and started to stink, to the point I have to wear mask just to bear the smell. Did the mask helped? Nope. Plus, I did not manage to remove the frog meat from the bone and it was really hard because of the smell. But I sucked it up because there are three of us who won't have grades if I did not remove the meat and assembled the bones. Was it worth it? Bearing the stinky smell of the frog remains? yeah, totally. Would I do it again? The dissection, yes. But letting it stink? Nope. I learned my lesson.

We had this Club activity, since my strand is STEM which is related to Science; we were tasked to make either of the two: a Science Art or a Science Music (I'm not sure if it's music, but you have to compose a song or use a song and render it so it can relate to science.) I chose to make a Science Art since I don't have the talent when it comes to singing or composing something.

As I was browsing the internet, to have an idea what kind of science art I could make, from recyclable materials might I add, it showed me ideas about solar system models, sensory activities, and a bunch of other science stuff. I came across this skin model, it shows the layers of the skin, where the hair strand grows, etc. I was convinced that it's the one I'm going to make, because the solar system model's are to overused when it comes to science arts and projects. Plus, it would be a bit different.

I started browsing even more about the skin layers, epidermis, and all other things. Until something caught my attention, it was this little brain model, and another idea popped in my head. That, "what if, instead of a skin model, I'll make a brain model, or a heart model. Just for kicks." I was very excited to do it because I became fascinated by brain, neurology, and neurologists for a few months now. Even with hearts, cardiology, and cardiothoracic. I weighed my options and it lead me to the axial view of the brain, which I failed doing. The shape of what I did and how it looks, it looks so different from what I really imagined it. It was a fun experience though, and for me it kind of resembles a slice of a brain.

These people are my closest friends, even though they have their own close friends. It doesn't really matter to me. I have known them for a few years now and bonded with them over many and little things. Of course, being friends, we cannot really avoid having conflicts over things even if it's smallest things. But that's a part of it, I guess. Not knowing when things will happen and why it happens, it just does.

I could not be more thankful to have them in my life, some drifted apart, I'm not that close with the other's anymore, but I don't look at it as a bad thing. People grow, sometimes we're supposed to drift apart and be with others, but that doesn't really mean you've (well in our case, 'we've') forgotten the times we spent together.

Being a low maintenance friend is really not that bad, you know them and they know you. You know deep within you that you can always count on them - vise versa.

This photo was an activity that my teacher asked my whole class to make. His instructions said we have to make a collage/infographics where we explain or illustrate what kind of traits, personality, and attitude our ideal person would have.

The photo itself doesn't really look very appealing, because I'm not very good when it comes to editing something. But I did tried my best to make it as clean and eye pleasing as possible. I, obviously made it a little to "Real Life" and it did not reach the expectations. But it did not bother me as much since i was really contented with what I made.
