Rough color test for a short I’m working on about a park ranger/lookout on fire watch trying to pass time up in her watchtower.

for anyone who wants a real long, rough cut version of anything animation related I’ve ever done, here you go! I’m getting stuff together for my MA Candidacy review, and this is my first attempt at cobbling together all my work. It needs some condensing, but for now, this’ll do.

I’m finally starting to board (at least some version) of my King Boot story. If I haven’t ever explained it before, its about a young boy who misses summer, who more or less creates his own kingdom in the woods to hide from the coming winter.

I'm finally "done" my shot for @tazanimated! there are a bunch of things I'd like to tweak, but since today is my deadline, i'll have to do them on my own. Good luck to all the other animators!

(the assignment was to do an environment within an environment. my initial idea was to create a small inviting food stand - the small environment - along a colder/darker/dirtier street - the larger environment, but i was pushed to make it more of a literal diorama)

Here’s a little exercise in expressive body language using the character designs from my previous post.

I had some fun with a bit of character design in aesthetics. (we were given 4 random things and told to make a scene out of them. mine happened to go together pretty well: Doctor, Lucky Man, Hospital, Flowers)
