The Prometheus Perimeter monitoring system is designed to help neighborhood watch teams maximize their presence. The drone waits in a IP67 rated enclosure that is heated and cooled where it charges wirelessly. The enclosure is vandal proof. The Prometheus drone is deployed when remote sensors are activated. Through the use of onboard AI and a 5G connection the Prometheus is able to navigate its surroundings in all weather conditions day or night and also deploys facial recognition to determine if the sensor was activated by a resident or intruder.

The company that developed Prometheus has since ceased operations. Not due to project deployment complications or lack of interest. The board saw the technology ripe for misuse and instead opted to shelve the project and all of its IP until such time as they can prevent it from being reverse engineered.
