A few days ago a had an idea of the loser’s club going to camp half-blood,, and it got 35 notes,, crazy I know,, here

I ended typing up a crappy hc to @bitchinavocados ,, and she loved it for some reason,,, so here ya go!! + reddie if you squint a lOT

•So Eddie Kaspbrak was claimed by Apollo (the god of the sun, healing, music, and the arts) when he was 13, he left his whole life in Derry behind and he journeyed by himself to Camp Half-Blood after reviving a message from the gods saying that Apollo was his father, and that he wasn’t dead like his mother always told him

•He very quickly became friends with everyone and soon was granted as the pediatrician///nurse there

•he loves making medicine and just in general helping people

•Skip to two years later

•basically one day a random lanky boy just walks into chb past the gates with no issue like “I think I’m supposed to be here” in a bad announcer accent and suddenly there’s that fucking floating symbol over his head which he’s suddenly been claimed by Hermes (The god of mischief, luck, and wealth)

•And eddie watches as the whole camp gathers around the new boy in shock and excitement

•Eddie’s highkey envious of how extroverted and attractive he is,,

•Eddie watches and listens this surprise newcomer for a few moments and he doesn’t like how immature his humor is or how touchy he is with people

•Chiron (the lead mentor in camp half-Blood ((and a centaur)) ) then forces Eddie to show “Richie the new kid” around camp until dinner, and Eddie gets so angry !

•”He May be cute, but he looks like a walking tool, Bill! I can’t show this kid around camp. I can’t believe Chiron’s forcing me to do this!”

•”I-I th-think Chiron’s d-doing This because h-he knows you two w-won’t get along. m-maybe this is a good thing. Ch-Chiron isn’t stupid.”

•Eddie just grumbles in response mostly because he can’t say no to bill,,

•After Richie finished unpacking in the Hermes Cabin he walked him around the front area of the camp and showed him all the cabins

•he was weirdly apathetic to the whole ‘multiple gods’ and ‘mythology’ thing,, the whole time he was basically making mom jokes and calling him weird nicknames

• “Eds!” “Eddie-boy?” “Sunny Eddie,,” “Eddie Spaghetti!” “*loud gasp* SUNNy SpAgGhETTi!!”

• until eddie basically shoved him into the dining hall at dinner time

•During dinner he talked with his new siblings at the hermes table

•And at one point he tried summoning whiskey into his magic chalice but he got a death glare from Chiron

•after dinner,, during the campfire eddie introduces richie to all of his closest friends at camp!!

• He first meets Beverly or “Bev” the strong beautiful and fearless ares (The god of war) child,, who has fiery red hair and wears worn down overalls over her Camp Half-Blood t-shirt.

•He then meets Stan, the dry and sarcastic (but of course very wise) child of Athena (The goddess of wisdom and intelligence), who’s looks could kill and has a bird book open into his lap

•Mike, the kind and quiet Demeter (The goddess of the harvest) kid who has such a nice smile and Richie is pretty sure he saw him feeding horses when Eddie showed him around,, and he has dasies sticking out of the pockets of his pants

•Then he meets Ben, the soft but strong and smart Iris (The messenger goddess of the wind and sky) kid, who’s wearing a shirt with a rainbow printed on it and has a small pocket journal closed in his lap,, and Richie learns that he’s dating Beverly

•Richie thinks they’re a unlikely but very cute pair

•And finALLy beAautiful assssss Bill, the son of Aphrodite. (If u don’t know who Aphrodite is…how??.((goddess of love and beauty)) )

•Richie could kind of tell that he was an Aphrodite kid because he kinda had that aura,,, but he didn’t look like the other Aphrodite kids he saw around, he dressed kinda punk-ish and there was a fuckin skateboard in his lap.

•Eddie told Richie that Bill is super popular around camp, and Bill blushes

•When he talks it’s really soft and mesmerizing and Richie notes that he’s probably charmspeaking (a quality that all Aphrodite kids have,,) without realizing it so his charmspeak must be so strong,,, even with his stutter.

•Stan may or may not be secretly pining over Bill,, but who isn’t he’s the most gorgeous boy of the camp

•AnYWaYys

•Rich likes the diversity of this group so much,, they call themselves ‘the loser’s club’ and he’s never felt so at home

•he ran away from his old home for multiple reasons, one of the main ones being that he wants to find out who he truly is and find people who accept him because his mom never did accept him

•and watching all these kids sit around a campfire and sing and tell stories and all laugh together,, he felt pretty accepted.
