Palmtree Panic

A drawing I did for Paradise in her classic version. I also attempted the Tyson Hess art style! It wasn’t very successful, but hey, it’s something! Afterwards, I made a scene between Paradise and Dr. Robotnik. She was promptly swatted off his ship.

This is my own Sonic oc, Paradise! She is apart of a fifth civilization Echidna tribe known as the Lidèrcynomàs (translated to the Nightmare clan), rivaling and outliving the Knuckles clan and Nocturnus clan. The Nightmare clan was known for being more close knit than the other two, those within the web were considered family and apart of the family name. They specialized in gunpowder and steel, valuing stealth and secrecy among the members, but were driven with a hunger of power and control. The ancient artifact they were destined to guard was the Phantom Ruby until it fell into the hands of Dr. Robotnik, and the remaining members are very few in between. Only the remaining members within the clan can detect the ruby and sense a real from a fake. Now that Infinite’s returned, Paradise seeks to restore the Phantom Ruby to its rightful place, posing as an antagonist to heroes and villains alike. But she can have a little fun while doing it!

I actually drew this for a cover I made that I posted on TikTok, but reflecting on it, it actually wasn’t that good lol. It was the song Once Upon A December, which is what I associated with Whisper.

Will Tangle be able to take care of Whisper’s wisps successfully? Who knows!

I’m also so looking forward to the epic conclusion to the New Road series whenever that releases! :D

I really enjoyed this comic, and I was putting together a playlist for a dub for issue 2 when I listened to Yaelokre’s Kid & Leveret and ended using it as a way to dissect Sally and Whisper as characters! They’re both quite interesting to me as being parallels to each other. This animatic is a reflection of this!
