“oh, where’d you get a job? if you’d rather not tell me, that’s okay. we’re basically strangers, so. oregon’s certainly different, but maybe weird in an amusing way.” britta let out a dry chuckle. “i don’t normally think about how grimy new york can be. it’s got to be more interesting than ohio, though. things were just too everyday there. and i didn’t know many people. the people i was staying with made things complicated. that sort of thing.” damn, she didn’t realize how much she hated talking about why she left.
wydbritta:
"it’s cool, you seem harmless. Creamery Cafe, though. I’m a waiter so I don’t really do much but grin, write shit, and carry food.” jack huffed. “it’s full of grime. probably is more interesting than ohio, i dunno where ohio even is.” they were somewhat sure if they were given a map, they still couldn’t point it out, it was one of those states they filtered out of their head. “it’s always people that make others move, i’ll tell you that. everyone where i’m from is a bitch and i’m glad i’m gone. i’m sure some are a bit...paranoid though. i didn’t exactly have the best reputation.”
