I ran for the first time in over a year today! 10.5 months after surgery - a much slower recovery than I anticipated. Only ran a mile, a long, slow mile - but it was ah-maze-ING! I could have ran all day, but in reality I just had to test the waters. It's been too much of a one step forward, two steps back recovery. This feels good. Really good!

Got to see Derek Jeter tonight! A slight rain delay, after a two hour trip to the ballpark because of flooding on the highway, allowed me the chance to have two hot dog dinners in the restaurant!

Hosting & planning events has its rewards! After a full day of conferences in one city, and a long 4 1/2 hour flight to another, my next venue has graciously upgraded my room and gifted me wine & cheese... It warms my heart! ❤️❤️
